Reminders
 March 27th – Trip to See Mulan. Please send in the money as soon as you can. We only
have a certain number of seats reserved and it is first-come, first-served.
 Children must be in school uniform EVERYDAY- Light blue polo shirt, navy blue bottom
 For your child to eat breakfast, he/she must be in school by 7:30 AM. Otherwise, children should be to school by
7:45 AM. Instruction begins promptly at 8:00 AM.
 Homework is an important review of learned concepts. Be sure that your scholar completes all homework
every day! Absent students must complete homework for the day(s) they are out of school.
 Encourage your child to read every day. Thirty minutes or more per day will help improve
reading levels. Encourage your child to stop and retell story events after one or two pages of reading. After
your child reads, have a brief discussion of the reading.
 In phonics, we are working on long e words made with e and ea and ee. Review blending words with these sounds.
 We will continue Opinion Writing this week. Students will try to persuade their reader to agree with their opinion including an opinion statement, three reasons and a conclusion.
