1. Would you please walk us through your resume?
2. What other experiences have you had that relate to this position?
3. What brought you into education?
4. What do you feel is the most important role of an instructional assistant?
5. What qualities do you possess that would make you a great teaching assistant?
6. An Instructional assistant is in a supervisory position-they report directly to the teacher.
In this position, your views and approach may differ from that of your teacher. How will
respond when you have conflict?
7. Instructional assistants are dual positions- must be willing and able to drive the bus. Do
you have any conflicts with the work schedule (days/times) or responsibilities of this
position?
8. Have you had experience with copying, and/or laminating?
9. Do you have anything else that you would like to share with us that we haven’t already
asked?
10. What questions do you have for us?

● Offers of employment come from the county office. We can not hire at the school level.
● Once we are finished with interviews, we will contact them.
