Why are we using Social Media?

Parents/Students/Stakeholders are starting to

use different forms of Social Media to see what
is going on around the school. They’re more
likely to check Social Media than the school
website everyday so we are trying to push our
Social Media platforms.
What do I have to do with this?

We want to SHOWCASE what you are doing

in and out of your classroom with your
students.
-Examples: fun activities, sports, different
clubs, guest speakers, field trips, dress up
days
How do we know who can be photographed?

-If you do not know who has permission to be

photographed within your class, refer to the Orientation
Paperwork Submitted Spreadsheet in the faculty folder.

-ONLY the students with the PUBLISHING PERMISSION

box checked can be used within the school. That
includes: yearbook, website and all social media
platforms
Who do I send my pictures to?

-Email Ms. Yarborough photos that you take and include

a description of the activity. Ms. Yarborough can also
come to your class to take pictures if you would like. She
will add to social media platforms.

-You can also send pictures to Mr. Hays for the yearbook.

Ms. Yarborough would love to feature at least one class a

week on social media doing something AWESOME. If
