1. Course Number: ECE 530/F


2. Course Name: Work Integrated Learning
3. Course Description: A course that enable the students to relate their acquired competencies to
the realities and problems of industries. This may include involvement in
the industry’s manpower requirements, development and research
concerns, trainings, applications of principles, environmental concerns,
ethical and behavioral concerns, decision making, and equipment and
materials concerns.
4. Pre-requisite: 1st to 4th year subjects
5. Co-requisite: None
6. Credit: 2.0 units Laboratory
7. Class Schedule: Total of at least 240 hours On-The-Job training
8. Program Educational Objectives (PEO) of BS Electronics Engineering (BSECE) Program:
Three to five years after graduation, the BSECE graduates are expected to:
1. Demonstrate professional expertise with ethical responsibility in the practice of electronics
engineering profession.
2. Show dedication and initiative in electronics engineering research and innovation, or
entrepreneurial ventures, and professional development

Upon graduation, the BSECE students are expected to demonstrate:

2. POLICIES AND GUIDELINES

a. Attendance is counted from the first regular class meeting.


b. A validated student identification card must always be worn by all students while attending
classes.
c. Cheating is strictly prohibited. Any form of dishonesty shall be dealt with accordingly.
Honesty is called for at all times.
d. Valid examination permits are necessary in taking the examinations as scheduled. CELLULAR
PHONES or any ELECTRONIC GADGETS and UNPRESCRIBED PRC CALCULATORS are NOT
allowed during EXAMINATIONS.
e. Base-15 grading policy should be observed. Students who obtained failing scores in major
exams are recommended to attend the tutorial class.
