Paint System

Surface preparation
All surfaces should be clean, dry and free from contamination. Cleanliness: Blast-cleaning to Sa 2½. Power tool cleaning to min. St 2 .
may be acceptable, subject to exposure conditions.

Condition during application

The temperature of the substrate should be minimum 5°C and at least 3°C above the dew point of the air, temperature and relative humidity
measured in the vicinity of the substrate. Good ventilation is required in confined areas to ensure correct drying.

Application methods
Spray - Use airless spray
The compressed air supply used for blasting shall be free of water and oil. Adequate separators and traps shallprovided and these shall
be drained continuously.

Unpainted surface
Before painting , Machined surfaces such as shafts or flange faces will be sticky on masking tape to prevent paint penetration.
