1. Character Age: 17
Posture:
Claire stands tall with her shoulders back. Her head is held high most of the time. When
it’s not it’s because she feels fear or the situation calls for it. An example would be in a
dance piece
Walk:
She doesn’t walk she glides across the floor with her arms and head swinging around
Gestures/Mannerisms:
Tremors in her hands when she is scared or nervous. Twitches when she sleeps. She is
very polite and holds herself with a dignified class. Her gestures are mostly free but
there are times where she constricts and uses percussive gestures to show control.
3. Occupation:
4. Interests:
Claire’s interests are dance, criminology whether it’s reading or watching, although she
prefers reading so she can visualize the story herself. Learning everything she can on
contemporary dance
5. Beliefs: (Religious and otherwise)
She believes in maintaining her composure at all times though there are times this
doesn’t always happen. Claire has a Christian faith and believes everything happens for
a reason. In fact that is her moral. Everytime she wakes up she must do the ritual of
thinking(with her hands on her heart) of 3 qualities about herself. Also she believes in
being yourself at all times although she doesn’t always practice this.
6. Ambitions:
Strives to get her mother’s approval and love and become one of the best dancers know
to man/women kind.
New York
I swing my arms a lot when I move and I also have the same interests and beliefs with
the exception of contemporary dance. Instead I prefer hip hop or jazz. Whenever I am
I prefer jazz and hip hop over modern contemporary dance and I walk with my toes curled up
instead of gliding across the floor. Also I don’t have as much control over my body as Claire
does. Although I get tremors I usually get them all over my body.
