Coherence Movie Review

This movie is an interpretation of cat in a box or also known as Schrodinger’s cat. This
theory created by Erwin Schrodinger states that if you put a cat in a box with a device that has a
50% chance of killing the cat, common sense suggests that the cat is either alive or dead. But
according to quantum physics, at the instant before the box is opened, the cat is equal parts
alive and dead at the same time. Its only when the box is opened when we see a single definite
state. The movie’s adaptation of the Schrodinger’s cat is surreal but it is kind of confusing
because there has been an interaction between the different realities present at the same time.
It is also not clear which is real because everything is real but is also uniquely different from the
other. At the end of the movie, there has been an error because two realities collided leaving an
error in the natural balance of the realm and a big question mark whether what is real or what is
not. The movie’s adaptation is like when the box is opened, they say a half dead and half alive
cat at the same time. That is kind of confusing.
