Abstract
Young people are agents of national transformation that drive the country towards global
aspirations. To spur national transformation in line with religious and cultural values, applying
the values of integrity of young people directly produces ethical leaders and reduces the
tendency of immoral acts in the country's political system. Hassan, M. S., Mahbob, M. H., &

Construct‐based approach to developing a short, personality‐based measure of integrity

Abstract
Covert integrity measures are thought to draw from the Big Five dimensions of
conscientiousness, agreeableness, and emotional stability. Using a construct‐based
approach, we had subject matter experts identify items from a Big Five personality
measure, the Trait Self‐Descriptive Personality Inventory that reflected an
operational definition of integrity. Victor M. Catano, Damian F. O'Keefe, Robbie E.

ABSTRACT

The personality-based IATs assess attributes related to the “dark triad” of personality –
Machiavellianism, subclinical narcissism, and subclinical psychopathy. A temptation
manipulation provided opportunities for subjects to lie, cheat, and steal on a number finding task,
to receive a greater financial reward. Schneider, Andrew C., "Investigation of the Predictive

Competence- and Integrity-Based Trust in Interorganizational
Relationships: Which Matters More?

Abstract
Trust is an important factor for managing transaction costs within interorganizational
relationships (IORs). Research on trust indicates that separate dimensions of trust arise from a
partner’s competence (i.e., technical skills, experience, and reliability) and integrity (i.e.,
motives, honesty, and character), and that these dimensions have potentially unique effects.
In particular, we build on theory that describes how parties process positive and negative
information about others’ behavior to predict that integrity-based trust in IORs is more potent
for reducing transaction costs than is competence-based trust. Connelly, B., Crook, T.R., Combs,
J., Ketchen, D., Jr., Aguinis, H. (2015)
