Goal
As humans, all of us have goals in life. Ever since we were kids, we
would dream of a certain goal to attain in life, like having a big house, being
a doctor, having luxurious cars, or having lots of pets. But as time passes by,
I observed that we attain certain goals in life without realizing it.
Having a goal or dream is essential to a person’s life, this is one of the
reasons why we move forward and grow as an individual. Time passes by as
we grow older we tend to change our goals in life, this is because as we move
forward we tend to have experiences in life that may change our perspective.
I myself have that experience, there are two types of goals, the immediate
goals and the long term goals. People often don’t realize that they are
achieving immediate goals in life. Like finishing high school and now going to
college. We don’t realize that we need immediate goals to attain our long term
goals. Like mine, in order to be a lawyer as my long term goal, I need to study
hard and get a college degree first then study four more years in law school.
That way I can be lawyer and attain my ultimate goal. Immediate goals are
essential to attain your long term goal.
We all have different goals in life, some are simple and some are
complicated. We should support each other when it comes to achieving each
ones goals.
Conscience
They say that conscience is the voice of God telling us whether what
we are about to do or what we did is right or wrong. I myself have countless
experiences when my conscience is speaking to me. Telling me if what I’m
going to do is gonna be good or will it have consequences?
In my own perspective, conscience is not the voice of God. This
doesn’t mean that I’m not a believer or my faith in him is not strong. I
believe that our conscience is fixated on us. This means that the voice inside
our head is literally just us, I believe that we humans are created as
naturally good living beings. We are naturally good even without the
influence either good or bad as growing up, we are naturally good as a living
being. We have the will to do so, that is why I believe that our conscience is
not the voice of God but the voice of our inner self given by God.
We were created as the supreme living creature here on earth, we
humans alone have the capacity to have free will. That is why we must not
abuse this and we should think carefully on what decisions we are going to
make. We must think first of what will be the outcome, if it is good or bad.
Freedom
Freedom is everyone’s right, wherever you are or whatever you are,
child, adult, senior, straight, gay, lesbian, mentally impaired, black, or white.
Each one of us have the right to be free as long as we don’t hurt anyone’s
feelings or underestimating his/her personality.
The moment we are born in this world, we already have freedom. The
freedom to live, the freedom to choose as we grow older. Freedom is an
essential need to humanity. Suppressing ones freedom means that you are
abusing that person. Just like what I’ve written in the previous essay, we
have the freedom to choose whether it is good or bad. In this essay there
are no bias opinion on whether you must do good because that is what God
wants. This is freedom, as a human being you are free to do anything you
want. But of course, there will be consequences when you abuse your
freedom. Freedom is free of charge and it is a right, but it still comes with a
price at the very end. So we must not abuse it, instead we should at least
use our freedom to make our world a better place.
Freedom is not God given, it is fixated on us. It is required on
everyone to have freedom. We do not have the right to hinder an individuals
freedom because we do not have right to do so.
Acts of Human
As human beings we have the free will to do anything we like, it is given to
us by God when he created us. We are the supreme creation of God, we are
superior to any other living creatures here on earth.
But we humans are not perfect, we tend to sin and sometimes we do not
even acknowledge the presence of God. We only praise him when we need
something. Human acts are indeed a mystery and beautiful, despite of
constant sinning we still tend to do something good and extraordinary.
Whether you’re a believer or not we humans are naturally good.
Our acts is our responsibility, actions entails responsibility. Either good or
bad, we must think carefully on our decisions in life.
