Story Making Related To Pictures Showed About Keesh

“Pabili po ng yelo! Pabili po ng yelo!” Shout the kid from the outside whose sweats are
dripping from his forehead because of the intense heat that we experience here in our country
weather its summer or rainy season. People here would die to see a block of ice and would
love to live in an icy country. That’s why we were really happy when my grand dad told us that
we’re going to Canada which is one of the icy country in the world. We prepared and packed
our belongings to get ready for our flight. I was really excited when we arrived there. But when
we get out of the car, i wondered why did he brought us to a forest. But i didn’t mind it i
hurried to the snow and played with it. While i am playing on the snow, i accidentally shot a
glance at my family. But my granddad wasn’t there. Though my mom, dad and my elder sister
were there. My parents called my name to look for our granddad. We went deeper into the
forest to find him. Being in there was really scary and we were all shivering from the cold. My
daddy tried to make a bonfire for us, He know how to make it because he was once a boy
scout. It’s getting dark and our tummies our growling because of hunger, my dad went for a
search to look for something to eat. Before he go, my mom warned him about the lakes
around the forest. Because there might be a thin ice on the lake. He started walking away from
us. He wasn’t far enough when suddenly he fell down. We were really afraid that time and my
mom was trying her best to comfort us. It’s getting dark and dark when a very cold breeze
suddenly blew. We even got more terrified when the bonfire died out! My sister wasn’t used
to cold and i heard her quivering voice asking for help from my mom. From us. While i was
searching in the dark, i heard the loudest sound my mom could ever scream. She’s talking to
my sister. But no response was coming from her. She screamed at the top of her lungs. A
deafening scream that made me cover my ears, shake and fall down to the thick snow. As i fell
down, i can still hear my mom screaming. She screamed until i opened my eyes. And saw my
mom in front of my bed trying to wake me up, sweats dripping from her tired and aged-
looking face. Walking on my way to school, the images of my dreams earlier flashed into my
eyes again. I suddenly realized something. That dream was like teaching me a lesson, that life
is like walking on a thin ice. Where you have to walk bravely and trust your own balance and
face no matter what consequences may come to your life. You have to walk straight and
ignore uncertain thoughts on your mind. You have to walk and take risk, because if you don’t,
you might lose your balance and fall into the icy waters of the river.

Essay (2nd Quarter)

“Lift your head, baby don’t be scared of the things that could go wrong along the way...”
as stated from the song With A Smile, it tells us that in any challenges and circumstances we
may face, we must stand and overcome it.
To become a Filipino is to be a child in a pack of hungry lions. You shouldn’t be afraid
just because they could devour you whole. Filipinos are way stronger than you thought. We
Filipinos are known for our heartfelt concern, nurturing spirit, and caring touch which made us
famous for being hospitable. Courageous and tough that’s what they call us. Numerous
calamities and wars have come to our country. But what happened? We stood firm and still
and wore our heart-melting smiles as we help each other and get back up again. But despite of
all of these compliments, and praises that we receive from other people, we Filipinos are not
really strong and independent as we thought we are. As for example, we still depend for
military assistance from the United States of America, we seek help from other countries, and
we still follow orders from a more dominant and influential countries. We are afraid to lose
those partnerships and assistance because it may lead to our country’s downfall. Which is fine.
Because we shouldn’t be scared of what could happen when all of those alliance and supports
disappeared. Just like in life we are the ones who make our own fate and fortune. The true
enemies in our life is ourselves. We Filipinos must practice to stand on our own feet to be
independent. We must make everything positive and light.
“You’ll get by with a smile. You can’t win at everything but you can try...” As a
continuation of the song, it tells us that no matter how many times we fail, we must stand up,
smile and get back to whatever you’re doing. You fall down 5 times you get back 6. We may
not always be a winner in our life, but let us tell ourselves that we should be one of the many
things that could help our nation to grow and be known as one of the most successful country
in the world someday. As impossible as it may sound, no impossibilities could stop us as long
as we are one and united.

Essay about Solidarity

Growing up with a broken family made me realise, that harmony and human solidarity starts within the
smallest unit of the society.
Strong relationship helps us build strong foundation and ties within our family. Human solidarity works
best if we learn how to respect everybody’s differences in life, the difficulties and challenges that we all face.
We have to understand that there are many ways of being in solidarity. And coordinate our responses. It does
not work if we attempt to coerce, shame or inflict guilt upon each other. But today human solidarity is
experiencing a crisis. A dictionary defines the word solidarity, reciprocity, fellowship and equality. Its a simple
definition of the world. Which of course would mean a lot more than just its literal meaning. People are
necessarily dependent of each other in different ways depending on one another.
There are tons of people out there searching for the love and guidance that they never had.
I saw them. My parents that i had known for how many years, are breaking apart. Covering my ears.
The only solution i know whenever they started screaming at the top of their lungs. My siblings. Whom i had
known for years are becoming a juvenile delinquent. Illegal drugs, gang war, and crimes are starting to feed
over them. And suddenly, i saw myself gone astray.
It is indeed terrifying to ponder about the lacking of human solidarity especially in family causes
suffering of people; human cruelty, misery, and deepening poverty of the human spirit. Harmony within a
family mold and leads every member to a good path. Which is important to build an essential society. Peace,
love and harmony from a family is the key to overcome the never ending challenges in our society.
As i take my step to the wrong path, there’s something holding me back and telling me that i must
stand in solidarity not because of a specific status that I have, environment that I belong with or experiences
that I had but rather to humanity. Nevertheless achieving a perfect world is not possible.

Research Introduction about Perspective of grade 10 Students in Premarital Sex

(3rd Quarter)

A lot of number of teenagers nowadays have engaged to premarital sex. But this is nothing new-even
from the past few years teenagers are reportedly having an engagement to premarital sex by the age of 15
and up. “But having sex before you were even married doesn’t always mean you had sex before 18 or even
age 25” pg. 1, Premarital Sex in America, Regenus and Uecker, 2011.
Having an engagement to premarital sex is a very unrighteous thing to do. Mostly high school students
are affected by these problems and issues. But what are their thoughts and opinions about this problem?
Especially those students whose age are likely to engage to such activities ranging from 15-20 years old
students are not new to this topic. Certainly, premarital sex have been a topic in school. They already have an
idea about what premarital sex is. They are aware of the effects if they engage to this activity.
“Many people have tremendous regret after sex, which leads them into depression. Thinking they are
unclean and used. The effects of premarital sex to teenagers are so acute that many of them look to drugs,
suicide and alcohol for relief.” Pg. 3, Perceptions of 3rd year and 4th year students in Premarital Sex, Inah
Calumpang, Ivy Calumpang, Rosales, Gabutan, Cabanag 2010
Share your own idea about the topic As a grade 10 student, you should have an idea about this topic.
Share your own perspective before seeking for others. Read more books and articles Gather information to
have more ideas on this topic Ask teenagers; grade 10 students They are the main subject of this research.
They are the ones you should be focusing on. Gather data and conduct surveys are the most effective way to
gather their thoughts and opinions Social experiment Conduct an experiment involving grade 10 students and
observe their reactions and expressions. Make a symposium or seminar Educate others especially students
whose age are likely to be affected. Give information on how to prevent this problem. This research purpose is
to lessen the delinquency of teenagers when it comes to the said topic. It will give them social awareness of
what has really been going on with our society. A lot of people will be aware of the ways to resolve and avoid
this problems not just the students but also the parents. We would also like to give this research paper to
teachers or educators to improve the ways of their teaching if ever their approach is not effective.
“People should know the proper do’s and don’ts on sexual matters.” Pg. 11, Perceptions of 3rd year
and 4th year students in Premarital Sex, Inah Calumpang, Ivy Calumpang, Rosales, Gabutan, Cabanag, 2010.9

Orpheus

The story of Orpheus is a Greek mythology that is tackled in 1st Quarter of English
class of Mrs. Rona Andrea Tamayo. Our group is assigned to have a group
reporting regarding this story. Before we start our reporting we first conducted an
interactive game which is entitled, “You complete me” & “Trust me”. After the
introductory games to boost up their interest about the report, we proceed to the
scope of our report. We presented a video presentation about the story of
Orpheus, we then explained the story of the iconic Greek Mythology. After the
discussion, we facilitated a game called “Fact or Bluff” and then we ended our
report with the lesson of the story.

Capitalizing Strength and Recognizing Weaknesses (Advocacy Campaign)

One of the first project that we have made in English subject is an advocacy
campaign about capitalizing strength and recognizing weaknesses. First, we made
a story in line with the concept capitalizing strength and recognizing weaknesses.
We then chose a music that will fit the story well and that is “This is Me” from the
story The Greatest Showman. After that, we proceed to the actual shooting of the
videos to be used in making the advocacy campaign. After all the videos were
filmed, thus the editing, and through hardwork, and teamwork, we manage to
produce our advocacy campaign with the help of everybody in my group.

Station ID from the story Keesh

We also had a video project wherein we have to make our Station ID in line
with the theme of the story of Keesh to be presented in the classroom. Our group
mates helped making the plot of our story and we all made a hard time choosing
what music we’re going to use in the said project. We chose “You Raise Me Up” by
Josh Groban. When all things are settled, we proceed to shoot all the films needed
for the project. We then proceed to editing the clips. The project was very
successful with the help of every member in our group. We were also happy with
the output.
