A schedule is a time table showing planned work days in shifts for nursing personnel so
that patient care is assured. A desirable distribution of off duty days can be achieved and individual
members of the nursing team will feel that they are treated fairly. They will also know their
schedule in advance. Today we follow a time table and groups. For example, 7-3, 3-11. And the
staffs tell me in advance if they have appointments or meetings so I can schedule their offs first.
All of us have contributions in making the plan, the staffs say it in advance if they have prior
meetings or agenda and I will be the one to make the plan and our head will check it. In terms of
factors in planning the schedule there are some such as adequate coverage for 24 hour and seven

we just deal it by talking or if I know that some of them are not in good terms my strategy is I will

In my opinion a leader is someone who sets the direction and take risks for the organization
menawhile a manager manages the entire organization and expects control.While the values and
beliefs that prevails in this organization are integrity, ethics respect and doing the right thing. If
there is one thing that we want to change is that this organization resist to change.
Analysis:
A great leader posses a clear vision, is courageous, has integrity, honesty, humility and
clear focus which their senior nurse posses. She exemplifies a model leadership style that made
the organization effective, efficient and successful in giving quality care to there patient.
