INTRODUCTION
The PLO Lumumba Foundation has established the PLO Africa Mentorship Program (AMP) aimed
at mentoring young Africans into self-reliance and servant leadership. It is a program of choice for
and by young people, who are nurtured to feel proud of being African and, to use our rich African
values, culture and resources to transform our continent. Additionally the program is focused on
providing platform for young people to showcase their projects, a forum for dialogue and network
among young people with a common vision of transforming Africa. The maiden conference was
held in Nairobi-Kenya on 20th-22nd June, 2019, under the theme: The role of the youth in enhancing
Social Entrepreneurship and Development of Africa. The conference attracted over three hundred
(300) participants from fifteen (15) different African countries and beyond.
The second edition of the conference will be hosted by the PLO Lumumba Foundation, Ghana
Chapter from 17th – 19th June 2020 in Accra, Ghana (West Africa), under the theme Redefining
Pan Africanism: The Role of Young Africans.
The conference is set to bring together over 500 young African leaders, public officials, diplomats,
students and student leaders, Civil Society Organizations, corporate organizations, and other
eminent personalities of African descent purposely aimed at morally- rearming young Africans. The
conference is centered on Pan African ideals that encourages and strengthens bonds of solidarity
among all Africans. The event seeks to harmonize energy of young African leaders and ideals and
dreams of our founding fathers; together with insights received from eminent personalities to be
shared with participants’; to equip this generation to redefine the African story and steer Africa in
the right direction and make Africa great again.
CONFERENCE OBJECTIVE
To impart the youth with knowledge, ideas, ideals and principles of Pan Africanism that will foster
the socio-economic and, political transformation of Africa by addressing African problems with
African solutions.

The Conference will offer a platform to spearhead and celebrate cultural diversity.

CONFERENCE PACKAGE
Kindly note that, the conference fee covers (not limited to) the following packages: internal
