Energy in the Pendulum.

Procedure:
The students will be given an improvised pendulum. The students will swing the pendulum for a
while and will observe and Identify the forms of energy present in pendulum. Students will
choose at least three representative to simulate in front of the class a simple experiment of how
kinetic and potential energy works.

1. What forms of energy present in the pendulum ?
2. At the top of the swing of the pendulum what forms of energy present?
3. At the very bottom /middle of the swing ,what forms of energy present?
4. What happen to the potential energy as the pendulum swing down?
