• TEAM FORMATION:

1) Teams of 2-3 members can be formed for participating in

the quiz
2) The quiz will be conducted offline
3) Onspot registrations may be allowed at the time of the event
4) All the instructions, as well as the questions, will be given in
English only

The quiz will be conducted over three rounds. The first two
rounds are elimination rounds. Each team needs to qualify the
first two rounds in order to participate in the final round.

• ROUND 1:
1) The first round is a qualifying round aimed at testing the
team’s ‘ Friends’ and ‘Harry Potter’ knowledge
2) It is a pen paper-based round
3) The questions in the round will be based on both, the TV
series and the movie series as well as the novels.
4) All the teams are required to answer the questions in the
sheet of paper provided to them during the quiz
5) Each team will be given 1 minute to answer each question
6) Each question may be multiple choice or one word type
7) No participant will be allowed to join the quiz after the be-
ginning of the quiz
8) In case of a tie, preference will be given to the team with a
higher number of correct questions which are starred

• ROUND 2:
1) Top 25 teams will participate in this round
2) It is a pen paper-based audio-visual round
3) The teams have to answer questions based on audio, pic-
tures or visuals on the screen
4) No options will be provided
5) The points of each question may vary
6) In case of a tie, the team with more number of correct ques-
tions of higher points will be given preference
7) Each team will be given 150 seconds to answer each ques-
tion
8) The questions will be solely based on the tv series and the
movie series

• ROUND 3:
1) Selected top 6 teams will participate in the final round
2) It is a pen-paper based quizzing round
3) Starting from the top team, all the questions will be placed
one by one to the teams in order
4) After the question is placed, all the teams will be given 30
seconds to pounce the question.
5) The teams who answer the question after pouncing will get
18 points. However, an incorrect answer post pouncing will lead
to a negative of five points
6) The team to which the question has been asked will get 1
minute to answer the question. The question will be passed to the
successive team on giving an incorrect answer
7) The team which answers the question correctly will get 10
points
8) After 2 continuous cyclic passes, the question will be with-
drawn.
9) Each team will be given two hints which they can use any-
time. 5 points will be rewarded to a correct answer post taking
the hint.

The team with the highest points at the end of the final round
will win the quiz.

• DISCLAIMER
1) The rules and formats of all rounds will be told during the
quiz
2) No extra materials are required for the quiz. All the materials
will be provided during the event
3) The decision of the organizers would be final and binding on
all the teams.
4) The organizers hold the authority to change the format of
any of the rounds during the quiz
5) The organizers hold the authority to disqualify the entire
team during any stage of the quiz if any participant is found
using unfair means to win.
