NOTCES:
Community Responses: It has come to our notice that a number of parents are not responding to payment
deadlines for school items such as calendar orders, photos etc. Parents are also asking to borrow money from the
school and requesting IOUs to pay for such purchases. Staff are no longer able to accommodate these requests
and do ask parents to get their orders in on time and respond by paying for such items within the set timeframes.
Family Planning/Sexuality Education Meeting: We have the opportunity of holding an information meeting after
school on a parent’s guide to talking with your child about sex and sexuality. The Family Planning organisation, who
have been running several lessons with the Yr7&8 students, have offered to run this session. This meeting is open
to all CTMS parents. Please let your homegroup teacher know if you are interested in attending. A date will be
published in next week’s Events. A parent booklet ‘Open and Honest’, a guide on sex and sexuality, is also available
to parents in the school office. Please feel free take one of these booklets.
Helper’s Morning Tea: A reminder to those parents who received invitations to our Helper’s Morning tea on
Thursday to send in their RSVP by Monday 22 November. We do require numbers for catering purposes.
Piano Lessons: Jonathan Crehan, our piano teacher, has just updated his new website with details about lessons
for 2011. www.mozartyoungacademy.com CTMS students are featured on the website.
Sustainable Coastlines: For those parents who missed the item on TV3 News, you can view on
BP Challenge: Congratulations to those children who represented CTMS at the BP Challenge on Thursday. Thank
you also to our parents who transported and supported the children at the event.
