“A RESOLUTION APPROVING AND ENDORSING THE SAME TO THE HONORABLE

MEMBERS OF THE SANGGUNIANG PANLALAWIGAN THE 1ST SUPPLEMENTAL ANNUAL
INVESTMENT PROGRAM (SAIP) FOR FY 2020 OF THE PROVINCE OF SURIGAO DEL SUR
THE ITEM “TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE ON ORGANIZATION FORMATION AND
STRENGTHENING” CODED WITH 3000-000-1-1-14-010-000-009 WORTH TWO MILLION
PESOS (PHP 2,000,000.00) TAKEN FROM GENDER AND DEVELOPMENT (GAD) FUND OF
THE ANNUAL INVESTMENT PROGRAM (AIP) FY 2020 OF THE PROVINCE OF SURIGAO
DEL SUR FOR APPROVAL AND ADOPTION”

WHEREAS, the fund exists in the 2020 AIP under the Social Services Sector of Gender and
Development Fund;

WHEREAS, PDC Resolution No. 001 Series of 2020 approves the Reduction of the amount of
items 3000-000-1-1-14-010-000-002 – Support to PopCom Activities, 3000-000-1-1-14-010-000-
004 – Support to Human Resource & Development, 3000-000-1-1-14-010-000-007 Support to
Nutrition Activities and 3000-000-1-1-14-010-000-008 Support to Health Activities under the
Social Services Sector of Gender and Development (GAD) Fund of the Annual Investment
Program (AIP) FY 2020 of the Province of Surigao del Sur by 50% from the original amount One
Million Pesos (PhP 1,000,000.00) respectively to fund the new item “Technical Assistance on
Organization Formation and Strengthening worth Two Million Pesos (PhP 2,000,000.00);

WHEREAS, the organizational formation is an initial and essential steps to let everybody work
efficiently to achieved the common goal and effectively deliver the social and basic services to
the people of Surigao del Sur;

WHEREAS, the PDC Executive Committee believes that putting the right people in the right roles
will improve our operations, policies, and processes to become a more effective and efficient
institution and maximize our development impact;

WHEREAS, formation and strengthening an organization will rectify the operational movement of
an organization for effective and efficient governance and essential to the promotion of general
welfare; and

WHEREAS, on motion of SP Member Henrich M. Pimentel and duly seconded by Hon. Ma. Kharin
Lourdes C. Momo the Liga ng mga Barangay President of Surigao del Sur;

NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVE, by the members of the Provincial Development Council

Executive Committee of the Province of Surigao del Sur assemble this 15th day of January 2020
at the PGO Conference Room, Capitol Hills, Telaje, Tandag City, Surigao del Sur, to approved
and endorse to the Honorable Members of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan the 1st Supplemental
Annual Investment Program (SAIP) for FY 2020 of the Province of Surigao del Sur the item
“Technical Assistance on Organization Formation and Strengthening” coded with 3000-000-1-1-
14-010-000-009 worth Two Million Pesos (PhP 2,000,000.00) taken from Gender and
Development (GAD) Fund of the Annual Investment Program (AIP) FY 2020 of the Province of
Surigao del Sur for approval and adoption;

BE IT RESOLVED FURTHER, to furnish copies of this resolution to Honorable Alexander T.

Pimentel, Provincial Governor and PDC Chairperson, and All PDC Members for their information
and guidance;

RESOLVED FINALLY, To furnish copies of this Resolution to the Honorable Members of the
Sangguniang Panlalawigan for their appropriate action.

DONE this 15th day of January 2020, during the PDC Executive Committee Meeting at the PGO
Conference Room, Capitol Hills, Tandag City.
