Dear Sir,
This has reference to your discussions with our Mr. D Iyer,( Director of Business Development),
we are inclined to carry out the entire works of providing you consultancy and professional
services , as per scope of work send herewith , we are detailing our corresponding
professional charges, as follows :-

1.0 Scope of Work

All the above services shall be, for a Project Management Consultancy, complete with the
following:-

A) Environmental Clearance:
1. Electrical Engineering design, for external services, for Master Plan working viz. Load
Demand Statement, Substation areas, capacities , location , street light positions , Hume
pipes / sleeves works / L.T. Panel locations, suitable for a MASTER PLAN working of a
large project., details for Energy Management, Green Norms etc
2. Plumbing Engineering, design / details necessary for Environment Clearance,
preparation of layouts, suggestions of Energy Savings schemes , Preparation of
Engineering details for STP/ WPH, Rain Water Harvesting, Calculations for total
potable Water, Sewage Water, Storm Water etc.
3. Attending co-ordination meeting with you and Mumbai as necessary, assistance to
your EC consultant in successful completion of the presentation of the scheme for
total Electrical & Plumbing Services.
4. Issue of all layouts, attending to MOCK Presentation EC hearing meeting in Mumbai.

C) MEP Services

1.1 Electrical Works

1. Design and issue of drawings and layouts for Internal, External , street light, D.G. sets
as also special schemes for Auto Controls, Modern Designs of Metering Panels and
improved quality of power distribution system.
2. Preparation of Bill of Quantities and Technical Specifications, if necessary.
3. Call of Quotations / Tenders, if necessary.

4. Assisting you in procurement of major materials, call of quotations, tender,

recommendations, and inspection of the same after they are procured, at site.
5. Check of typical slabs before casting for all electrical works.
6. Check of sample flats, concealed wall drops, DB’s, etc.
7. Attending to co-ordination meetings with other service consultants, Architects, Site
Project Managers as per call.
8. Inspection of works at different stages, certification of bills of contracts, if required.
9. Testing and issue of Acceptance for occupation and charging of power supply.
10. Assisting, for all MSEDCL, case file, technical discussion, issue of all drawing
layouts, for PWD approval s etc.

1.2 Public Health Services

1.2.1Water Supply
1. To study and analyze basic data with respect to water requirement, consumption and
storage including fire fighting needs with due consideration to existing / future plans.
2. To design transmission line from specified water source to storage facilities.
3. Analyze water quality and determine need of water treatment.
4. If necessary design water treatment facilities depending upon water source.
5. Determine underground / overhead storage facilities.
6. Design water distribution pipelines from storage tanks to various water consumption
centers and / or Hydro pneumatic system.
7. Determine fire fighting water requirements and work out suitable storage.
8. Design hot water distribution system for solar hot water system, if any.
9. Design and work out details for Swimming pool filtration system and recirculation
piping.
10. Prepare detailed drawings for laying proposed pipelines (transmission and
distribution)
11. Prepare detailed specifications for water supply components / piping.
12. Prepare bill of quantities for water supply components/piping.
13. Work out cost estimates for water supply system.

1.2.2Drainage / Sanitation
1. Study existing contour plan and decide tentative pipeline alignment for sewage.
2. Study alignment survey details at site and prepare relevant drawings for laying
sewer.
3. Design sewer lines based on data and above contour/alignment survey.
4. Prepare detailed specifications for piping system.
5. Prepare ‘L’ sections for total piping system.
6. Prepare drawings for other work like manhole, flushing tank and
bathroom/toilet/drawings etc.
7. Design septic tank/anaerobic filter/ soak pits or centralized sewage treatment plant
and its disposal / reuse of waste water.
8. Prepare bill of quantities.
9. Work out cost estimates for drainage system and sewage treatment plant.

1.2.3 Storm water / Rain Water Harvesting

1. Collect data with respect to total rainfall, rainfall intensity, contributing area etc.
2. Study existing contour plan and determine economical alignment for storm water
drainage system.
3. Design storm water including roof drainage / area drainage lines.
4. To prepare drawing of identified alignments for execution purpose.
5. To prepare drawings for appurtenances like inlet drain, chambers/ man holes etc.
6. Design / prepare storm water harvesting system for roof top as well as area
drainage.
7. Prepare bill of quantities.

1.2.4 Fire Fighting

1. To design and prepare working drawings to include all aspects of fire fighting
facilities such as under ground and overhead water storage tanks, wet riser cum

down comer, hydrants, rose reel and hose box, sprinkler system design, main
pump, sprinkler pump, booster pump, jockey pump design, pipe sizing, fire alarm
system etc. based on fire N.O.C.
2. To provide technical specifications for all the works to be done at site.
3. To provide schedule of quantities and assisting the client for selection of right
materials.
4. To assist during commissioning of system after completion of work.

4.0 Commercial :

A) Environmental Clearance & Griha(Electrical & Plumbing)

1. Advance, against Work Order : 50%
2. On completion of details : 50%

B) M.E.P.Services
1. 20 % Advance against work order.
2. 20 % Against DBR & Conceptual drawings.
3. 20% Against Final GFC drawings.
4. 20% against start up of work.
5. 20% During course of execution of project (Month wise payment)

5.0 Price Escalation:

A. The above rates are frozen for 3 years from the date of advance/commencement of
design work.
B. In the event of delay in completion of the project/ development of future Phases and
inflation / price escalation @ 25% per year on balance fees payable shall be applicable.
C. For all future Phases beyond the scope of this work order, after the completion of 3
Years, the professional fee shall be re – discussed.
D. Any additional works during the concurrence of this project in the next 3 Years shall
remain frozen, for the professional fees , as indicated above.
e.g. 1. Total Professional fees, say Rs. 1, 00,000/-
2. Paid in next 3 years , say Rs.80, 000/-
3. Balance Rs.20, 000/-, in 4th Year.
4. Payable in 4th year Rs.20, 000/- +25%.
5. Payment released in 4th year, say Rs.10, 000/-
6. Payable in 5th Year Rs.20, 000/-+25% -Rs.10,000____________+25%

6.0 Special clause for revisions of design :

If the design /layouts are revised repeatedly, even after acceptance (in concept /GFC
stage and call for total revision of the project design) the project professional fees shall
be subjected to an adhoc rise @ 10% for every such revision.

7.0 Inclusions
All cost of courier, postal, printing / plotting etc. are included in the professional fees.

8.0 Exclusions
Liasoning with any of the statutory bodies shall not be in your scope, however technical
drawings as required will be provided by you in coordination with respective liasoning
companies.

9.0 Drawings
We shall provide 3 sets of hard copies of the final designs with a soft copy on the CD to
you. However during the design coordination drawings shall be send in soft copies. All
the drawings shall be indicated with Drawing Title, Drawing Nos, and Revision Nos. etc.
for records of all.

10.0 Termination of Order

Agreement between us may be terminated by either party giving the other a written
notice of not less than 30 days notice and shall be decided by the company in mutual
consultation with us. The client shall pay us the charges for the work completed.

11.0 Arbitration
In case of any dispute or differences arising between us with regards to any aspect of
this agreement or its implementation, we shall try to resolve it amicably or through an
arbitrator as the Indian Arbitration Act.

coordination, successfully.
