specified in the Schedule of Vibration Isolation Equipment. Unless otherwise specified in the
Schedule of Equipment, all vibration isolators shall be sized to have the following minimum
deflection when loaded.
The Contractor shall submit detailed calculations on the loading at each of the vibration isolator for
review before equipment installation can commence at site.
TUBEWELL
The contractor is responsible to drill pilot well to determine the water quality as well as the yield of
permanent tubewell to supply sufficient water as specified to hotel new extension. Upon
successful development of permanent tubewell, necessary pumps, control panel, pipe, fittings,
valves and accessories shall be provided for reliable operation of the tube well.
WATER TREATMENT
Contractor is responsible for testing of tubewell water and design, supply and installation of water
treatment system in order to achieve the quality and quantity of water as specified WHO standard
and also comply with the following guide lines.
The following shall be applied for the water treatment system but not limited to achieve
efficient performance of the system as specified -
PS/2-16
Chlorination- A highly efficient disinfectant, of which is added to water supply to kill
disease-causing pathogens, such as bacteria, viruses and protozoan, that commonly grow in
water supply, on the walls of water mains and in storage tanks.
(De-Iron) filter, the most advanced catalytic water filtration media that used in iron
removal filtration system which has extremely high capabilities of removing both Iron (Fe) and
Manganese (Mn) simultaneously through low cost catalytic oxidation and retention of
precipitate. The De-Iron filter shall also remove arsenic from a water supply given the correct
conditions as well as to remove arsenic associated with iron-containing influent. Ferric Chloride
shall be used when treating feed water with high arsenic if any feed levels.
Carbon filteringis to purify water that uses a piece of activated carbon to remove
contaminants and impurities, utilizing chemical absorption. Each piece of carbon is designed to
provide a large section of surface area, in order to allow contaminants that most possible
exposure to the filter media. Carbon filters most effective at removing chlorine, sediment, and
volatile organic compounds (VOCs) from water. Coal, coconut shell based activated carbon
shall be used for the plant.
Water softenerthat reduces the calcium or magnesium ion concentration in hard water
where, these “hardness ions” that cause two major kinds of problems. The metal ions react with
soaps and calcium sensitive detergents, hindering their ability to lather properly and forming an
unsightly precipitate and presence of “hardness ions” that also inhibits the cleaning effect of
detergent formulations.
The following pumps and equipment are given as guidelines but the performance of the
system shall be ensure and guarantee by the contractor and shall take actual site data and
adjust the calculation to meet the standard as specified.

The design, supply & installation of sewage treatment plant shall follow the following minimum
guide lines.
Raw sewage is gravitated from the last inspection chambers into the inlet chamber which directs
the sewage to the screen chamber. The screened sewage then flows to the grease chamber
and pump sump. From the pump sump, the sewage is pumped to the distribution chamber,
where the flow is distributed to the aeration tanks of the treatment plant. Aerobic biological
treatment and nitrification process takes place in the aeration tank where air diffusers provide
the oxygenation required for oxidation and synthesis by the microorganism present in the
sewage.
The aerated sewage is transferred to the clarifier (sedimentation tank ) via the pipe connection
to the stilling box. The activated sludge in the hopper bottom of the clarifier is returned to the
