In 2014. I did Croatian medical intership program to get licence to work as an intern for
University Psychiatric Clinic. As part of my psychiatric education, I attended several
conferences for young psychiatrists:
2016: Croatian Psychiatric Days in Opatija (with poster presentation),
2017. Croatian Psychiatric Days in Opatija (with oral presentation),
2017: European Congress of Psychiatry in Florence (co-author of a poster presentation),
2017: The Course on Leadership and Professional Skills for Early Career Psychiatrists held by
Professor Norman Sartorius
2018: European Congress of Psychiatry in Nice (author of a poster presentation).
2018: European Congress of Psychotherapy in Belgrade (oral presentation)

2016: Transactional Analysis training started under the mentorship of Dr. Zoran Milivojević,
international supervisor and educator for ITAA and EATA. Currently on 4 year of education to
become Transactional Analysis Psychotherapist.

Polysymptomatic psychiatric patient

XY, 36-year-old man comes in psychiatric emergency ambulance, he states he has


been depressed and anxious, but is most worried about his alcohol misuse. Psychiatric
interview revealed he was experiencing bouts of generalized worries, sporadic
socially anxiety, fatigue, amotivation, sleep disturbances, in addition with increased
alcohol misuse increased over the last few months. So far, he has been treated with
two SSRIs (sertraline and paroksetine), with diazepam but they were completely
ineffective. He comes for help mostly because of his escalation in excessive drinking
phases, which left him temporarily more depressed and even suicidal.
