Cognitive dissonance
➢ It is an unpleasant state that occurs when
individuals discover inconsistencies between two
of their attitudes or between attitudes and
behavior.
➢ Individual needs to change his thoughts or
behaviors or obtain more information about the
issue to reduce inconsistencies.
