Secretary, Bar Council of A.P., A.P. High Court Building,
Nelapadu, Amaravti.

O R D E R:

In the G.O. 1st read above, Government have decided to provide a

matching grant of Rs.4,00,000/- (Rupees Four lakhs only) and ordered for
payment of an amount of Rs.4,00,000/- (Rupees Four lakhs only) to the
nominee/dependent of the deceased Advocate, over and above the amount
sanctioned by the Advocates Welfare Fund Committee and it shall be paid by
the said Committee along with the death benefit of Rs. 4,00,000 (Rupees Four
lakhs only) sanctioned by them to the beneficiary.

2. In the G.O.2nd read above, Finance (FMU-Home & Courts) Department

issued Budget Release Order for an amount of Rs.1,00,00,000/- (Rupees One
Crore only) for the Financial Year 2019-2020 under the Head of Account
“2014-Administration of Justice – 800 - Other Expenditure – (07) – Assistance
to Associations and Organisations – 310 – Grants Aid – 312 – Other Grants in
Aid”.

3. In the letter 3rd read above, the I/c Secretary, Bar Council of Andhra
Pradesh, A.P, High Court Buildings Nelapadu, Amaravati, while enclosing a
fresh list containing the names of 34 Applicants of deceased advocates has
requested to provide Matching Grant.

4. The Budget Release order for an amount of Rs.1,00,00,000/- (Rupees

One Crore only) sanctioned at para (2) above to provide Matching Grant is
adequate only twenty five (25) applicants (i.e., Rs.4,00,000/- each for the 25
applicants) and the expenditure shall be debited to the Head of Account “2014-
Administration of Justice – 800 - Other Expenditure – (07) – Assistance to
Associations and Organisations – 310 – Grants Aid – 312 – Other Grants in
Aid”.

5. The Drawing and Disbursing Officer, Law Department is requested to

issue a Cheque in favour of A.P. Advocates Welfare Fund Matching Grant
Account bearing No.39023907537, IFSC Code SBIN0061328, with State Bank
of India A.P. High Court Branch, Amaravati for an amount of Rs.1,00,00,000/-
(Rupees One Crore only) towards death benefits to the nominee of the deceased
Advocates sanctioned in para (4) above.
