• Identified prospective weather strip fitment defect in the initial stages and helped
rectify it in 120 cars.
• The initial identification helped reduce rework and potential line losses thus saving
additional 9 minutes of cycle time per car.

 • Assisted in the experimental analysis for finding the causes of rejection and poor
quality of male tulips.

• With the help of analysis, the quality of product was improved leading to 15%

TEAM NITROX-BAJA TEAM OF NIT KURUKSHETRA
Brakes & Transmission system and CAE analysis

• Improved the car braking by designing a single piston floating brake caliper for an ATV.
• Performed CVT tuning to obtain the parameters which enhance the response of the
vehicle.

• Designed CVT with suitable range to boost reliability and improvise vehicle handling.
• Performed structural analysis using ANSYS on different components of an ATV.
HONOURS AND AWARDS
• Represented NIT KURUKSHETRA in BAJA SAE INDIA 2018 with student designed and fabricated ALL
TERRAIN VEHICLE and secured AIR-7 overall

• Awarded as RUNNER UP in national level competition, Aravalli Terrain Vehicle Championship 2018
along with eight awards in different categories with cash prize worth3.5 lakhs.

• Represented NIT KURUKSHETRA in BAJA SAE USA 2018, Oregon, Portland, USA with student
designed and fabricated ALL TERRAIN VEHICLE.

• Represented NIT KURUKSHETRA in BAJA SAE INDIA 2019 with student designed and fabricated ATV
and were the design finalist.

• Awarded as RUNNER UP in national level competition, Aravalli Terrain Vehicle Championship 2019
along with seven awards in different categories with cash prize worth 2.5 lakhs.
