List #2 - 2005
I have decided to reduce my collection of playing cards and card games with, as a beginning, about 500
packs. These 500 will be offered for sale in three lists with an interval of 3-4 months during 2005. This
second list will as the first did, contain packs of mainly newer date, i.e, from the second half of the 20th
century.
The descriptions are based upon information I noted on my file cards at the time, I acquired the decks.
Due to lack of time, I have not attempted to correct this information or add later information. Thus some
details may not be quite correct or up-to-date. Some dates given are estimated. Further and/or larger
scans of the cards can be supplied if needed. The third list will be issued by the end of the year or in the
beginning of 2006.
The condition of the decks are categorized as mint, fine, good, reasonable or bad. Mint does in this con-
nection mean, that the decks have not been used for card playing, but only have functioned in a collec-
tion. The condition relates to the cards themselves, boxes may have sign of wear. Some boxes have a
collection identification mark, a small rubber stamp discretly placed, often on the inside of the cardboard
box flap and/or they have a written identification numbers, likewise discretely placed. Such markings are
not mentioned in the list’s description. If this is a problem for you, ask before you order.
Prices are listed in EUR. Other currencies are OK; the official exchange rate of the day of the order will
be used. Payment is accepted in cash by registered mail, by IBAN transfer (within Europe) or by Paypal.
Personal checks cost EUR 15 extra for banker’s exchange fee. Otherwise ask. State payment choice with
order.
Actual postage will be added. Normal size playing cards cost for 1-2 packs about EUR4.- (Europe) or
EUR6.- (outside Europe). Four packs cost EUR 6.-/EUR9.- respectively. Larger boxes and special (heavy)
items will cost more. Postage is free on orders over EUR 200.- (except heavy magazine/book orders).
Registered mail (optional), add EUR 7. Do not send payment with order. Response by email will be given
3 days or earlier after receipt of order.
