Wayangan Farmer’s Association was formalized last March 10, 2017. It was composed of 11 Female members and 3 male members with a
total of 14 active members. There are 12 Pantawid members and 2 Non-Pantawid. The association’s approved project fund amounting to
Php210,000.00 with a project title Product Marketing and Management of Agricultural Supply.
The formalized association was solely for the purpose of capacity building through the management of livelihood product. On January 18,
2019 the check was released to the association. On May 31, 2019 Pre-implementation Meeting was conducted in order for the participants
to be reminded of the contents of the Mungkahing Proyekto and the Seed Capital Application Form considering that they were organized 2
years ago. on June 2-4, 2019 was the agreed scheduled dates of RFQ floating to the identified prospect suppliers. After all these activities,
they were able to purchase and inspect their goods on June 10, 2019 thus on June 17, 2019, the association conducted there turn-over
ceremony and recorded as their official start of operation.

materialize together with Jojo Siblon (SLPA Vice President), Janet Hereria (SLPA Secretary) and Nemilyn Sandoval (SLPA Treasurer). Also,

Provide a description of the current status of the association/ MD or EF Participant including information such as but not limited to:
(From the background, it is necessary for the MPDO to be informed on the status of the participant or the Association which is the basis for planning for next activities. Again some
of the questions stated below are adapted from the Guide in Accomplishing the FAR, however the guide as stipulated reflects the minimum information needed, hence inclusion of
other relevant information is encouraged.)
Update on the MD/project, whether operational or not, the reason for ceasing the operation, any income/savings, additional assets the impact of the project to the
participants as well as to their families and community
The functionality of the Association, active or not, challenges met/possible reasons for being inactive, good practices done
On the EF, nature and current status of employment, savings/income, impact to economic condition of the family, start and end or if employment is ongoing, or reasons of
employment
The MD project is operational and there is a certain schedule of every member on their day of duty in managing the store. It was agreed that the
collection of sales is in a daily basis thus, SLPA Treasurer is collecting cash every afternoon together with the sales book in order for her to check
and tally the actual cash versus the inputs in the sales. As of October 9, 2019 there are total deposited cash amounting to Php 61,321.10 in their
association’s saving account. They had deposited Php 27,000.00 on July 11, 2019 and another deposit transaction of Php 33,000.00 on August 22,
2019.
The association is still operational and active in its daily operations. Their members had established their rapport in terms of business in their
community. It was agreed on the recent meeting together with Ms. Rizelle Caswang, Municipal Link of Pantawid Program that as per orientation
before by the former PDOs of SLP assigned in the area that the non-listed members of Pantawid who were interested and not listed in the SLP
CBL and project proposals submitted for funding were included in the list of members to manage the operation of the enterprise. It is because of
the orientation being done by the former PDOs that there were misunderstanding between and among the members of the association (names
listed in the project proposal) and the other Pantawid members who claimed also that they were members as well in the association (not listed
names in the project proposal). Therefore, as intervention to this concerns majority’s decision to include the remaining Pantawid members who
were not listed in the names of members will be done thus, benefits and responsibility will be shared among them equally. For a month, they will
be under observation with the BLGU and MAT members on the operation of the project, the financial and the performance of every member as to
their functions and responsibilities.
These challenges were under managed and for follow up meeting (date to be scheduled yet). Currently, the livelihood project’s operation is on-
going.
