INTRODUCTION

Cutting classes is a term that actually means intentionally not attending in a

required class. It is very prone to high school students because most of their education
system is not that strict. This activity may affect all your grades and can lead you to
unsuccessfull future. This activity is the problem of most of the students because their lack
of getting attention by their educators. Some of them is not being guided by their parents
properly, didn't educate their children whats the proper attitude in going class. This kind of
activity

GLOBAL PERPESPECTIVE

According to Lew Taylor (January 2012) "It was hypothesized that cutting
classes harms exam scores, taking optional exam preparation quizzes helps exam scores,
and earlier exam scores in the semester predict later exam scores". He also states that this
activity can affect your grades critically. Therefore in order to avoid this activity, you
should attend your daily school activity in order to make your score high and acceptable.

According to Michael Klonsky (Mar 2013)"These closings have been targeted at

some of the most depressed and resource-starved communities ... When you shut down
schools in those communities, which are often the anchor of the communities, it increases
the blight and a lot of the social problems in the community. So it is a big issue in terms of
neighbourhood and community issues, aside from the educational problems it causes".

According to Jason Richwine(Mar 2013)"The point is that the schools have a

fiduciary responsibility to provide education in a cost-effective way. And if they are not
doing it in a cost-effective way - and I think that it's fairly clear that that's the case - then
they have a responsibility to reallocate resources in a way that's most effective".
NATIONAL PERSPECTIVE

"Complaints of students cutting classes and spending time in internet shops even
during class hours have risen in Quezon City weeks after the start of this school year". Chito
Chavez(June 2019) He also tells that some of the high school students choose to cut their
class in order to play in the internet cafe. therefore in order to stop this kind of scenario, he
assign teams that will randomly penalize this type of students to be accommodate during
their class.

According to, DepEd secretary Mona Valisno(June 2010)" has ordered a tighter
watch on Internet cafés, particularly those in school zones, during class hours". Therefore
in order to avoid cutting class for students, educate the schools to teach their students

LOCAL PERSPECTIVE

According to researcher CABANTIAN NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL cutting classes is

very prone to student because of the lack of attention to the students. Especially when
there is public event on going. Educators must fully secure the students in order lessen
cutting class in their school. School must put high security camera in the place where the
students is prone to cut class.

THESIS/CONCLUSION

Therefore I conclude that cutting classes is a negative activity which is it can harm your
grades. Cutting classes means intentionally inactive in attending in class. In order to avoid
this kind of activity, you must avoid those students who are bad influence to overcome this
kind of problem.
