This meeting is being held in conformity to the Open Public Meetings Act N.J.S.A. 10:4-6 et. seq.
Proper public notice of the meeting was published in the local papers on February 8, 2020.
If any Board member or member of the public in attendance believes that the meeting is in violation of
the Open Public Meetings Act, the Hoboken Board of Education requests that they make a statement
at this time.
The Board wishes to make those in attendance aware that this meeting is being recorded on video and
will be broadcast by the Board at a later date on CATV Channel 77 and Fios Channel 46. The full

district homepage.

the Warren County Special Services School District for School Year 2020/2021.
Subject 10.07 Renewal of Membership in the Pooled Insurance Program of New Jersey
(Workers' Compensation)
Recommended Action WHEREAS, a number of Boards of Education in various Counties have joined together to form a
Joint Insurance Pool as permitted by N.J. Title 18A-.18B and;
WHEREAS, said Pool was approved effective July 1, 1984 by the New Jersey Commissioner of
Insurance and has been in operation since that date and;
WHEREAS, the Bylaws and regulations governing the creation and operation of this Insurance
Pool contain elaborate restrictions and safeguards concerning the safe and efficient
administration of the public interest entrusted to such a Pool , and;
WHEREAS, the Board of Education of Hoboken has determined that membership in the Pooled
Insurance Program of New Jersey is in the best interest of the District;
NOW THEREFORE, be it resolved that the Board of Education of Hoboken does hereby agree to
join/renew membership in the Pooled Insurance Program of New Jersey and hereby accept the
Bylaws as approved and adopted. The renewal term is from July 1, 2020 to June 30, 2023.
Subject 10.08 Approval of Payment for Prior Years' Invoices for Plumbing Services

Recommended Action RESOLVED that the Hoboken Board of Education does authorize payment for prior years' invoices
from Able SOS for the provision of emergency plumbing services throughout the district in the
total amount of $18,075.00 (FY2017: $1,490.00 / FY2018: $6,495.00 / FY2019: $10,090.00).
Subject 10.09 Approval of Long Range Facilities Plan (LRFP) Update by Architect of Record
Recommended Action RESOLVED that the Hoboken Board of Education approves Mount Vernon Architect, the district's
appointed Architect of Record, to update the Long Range Facilities Plan (LRFP) and to work on
projects within the LRFP.
Subject 10.10 Approval of District Auditor for the 2020/2021 School Year
Recommended Action RESOLVED that the Hoboken Board of Education approves the appointment of Barre and
Company, LLC as the district's Auditor for the Financial Year 2020 Comprehensive Annual
Financial Report (CAFR).

Metal cleats and spikes (only formed rubber cleats are allowed)

Painting, chalking, tape or other adhesive material without prior approval
Formal practice without prior field reservation
Stakes, spikes or other pointed objects, such as tent stakes, corner flags, and poles that may penetrate or damage
the turf
Portable heater and/or any open flame
Any golfing or throwing activities such as hammer, shot, discus or javelin
Suntan lotions, oils or creams of any kind - Please apply sunblock prior to entering the turf area
Failure to comply with these rules will result in users being asked to leave and / or immediate cancellation of reservation.
