Assume duties of a school administrator, including conducting formal and informal teacher
observations, facilitating professional development, collecting and analyzing student academic
and behavioral data, assisting in the implementation of school-wide initiatives, and serving on
the hiring committee.

West Johnston High School Johnston County Public Schools, NC 2017-2019


Teacher Leader
Served various roles of teacher leadership including Data Team lead, School Improvement
Team, Equity Advisor, and Professional Learning Communities. I also served as the class of
2020 Powder Puff coach.

Managed the responsibilities of the Department including weekly meetings, budget management,
curriculum training, distribution and planning, data collection, assessment creation, and
representing the department in all administrative meetings. Participated as a member of the
Instructional Leadership Team (ILT), evaluating school data, collaborating on problem-solving
needs, and creating a school-wide initiative to improve writing for all students. Also, represented
the school in district ILT meetings.

Support Facilitator 2008-2012
Served on a two-person team dedicated to providing support, training, mentorship to teachers
who worked with students with disabilities transitioning into regular education classrooms from
separate settings. Created Professional Development on differentiation in the classroom, IDEA,
various strategies for behavior management, strategies for success when working with different
populations. Managed student grades and met with students one on one for tutoring, classroom
support, and crisis management. Communication with parents was frequent and ensured the
success for all students.

Middleburg High School Clay County Schools, FL 2001-2002


English Teacher/Cheerleading Coach
Participated in all department and school meetings as required and expected. Attended
professional development for first-year teachers. Completed all necessary courses and
requirements to teach. Served as the Junior Varsity Cheer Coach and managed all scheduled
practices and games, planned events related to the squad, and supported the athletic department
with budgets and transportation.
