food, it is very known in this country and the people is very interested when it comes to a small

Executive Summary

In entering business world, business owners need to be perseverant, diligent, and resourceful. It's
not easy to run a business especially if the owner is just getting started. There are so many
challenges that the business might encounter and owners should think an effective solution for
those problems to continue and improve the business he or she have. One of the strategies of
business owners to improve and recognize their businesses is creating a new product that will
make them known and be patronize all over the country or world.
So, as an innovator we created a new product that will make a change in street food industry.
"Kalye dos" has a different kind of food with a heavenly taste.

Future Outlook and Trends:

We determine our competitors are Overize and Siomai King. Our business will be
based on street food products. It is a partnership business. Initially we plan to start our business
on July 2020. We wish to achieve so much customer to expand our business.

Analysis of Competitors:
Swot Analysis is the method that we used to determine what is happening an industry
including demand - supply statistics, degree of competition within the industry, and the influence
of external factors on the industry. By using Swot Analysis we could identify which stage an
industry this small business is currently in, whether it is profitable, still growing or going to
bankrupt.

turn your day into nice day.

Industry Forecast:
Street food is one of a trendy business here in the Philippines. Because of affordable
price, people continue to buy and consume. Street food is generally small in size, requires
relatively simple skills, basic facilities and small amount of capital. Street food is ready-to-eat
food or drink sold in a street or other public place, such as market or fair by a vendor. Eating
street food has both advantages and disadvantages. The advantages are that it’s usually delicious,
it’s cheap, and it’s easy to find. But on the other side, eating street food can have some negative
aspects such as a lack of cleanliness,
Diarrhea, vomiting and other illnesses can result from eating street food. Sometimes
food for sale along the street doesn’t contain a virus but becomes contaminated by dirt from the
road and also for the vendors, some of them have to sell out-of-date food such as re-heated.
These factors can certainly have an effect on customers’ health. So that, as a good entrepreneur
we're focused on this particular issue. Street food is usually made in chicken, pork or any meat
that is high in cholesterol.
It is not only about the lack of cleanliness but also for the ingredients and calories
that they would get in the product. So that, we came up from the ideas on how to provide a
product that is healthy, convenience and affordable for the consumer of street food, and we think
vegetable is the best alternatives for a meat. In that way, millennials recognize vegetable can be
used for producing street food product and they would choose it rather than the typically street
foods because of the benefits that they would get in.
Description of Venture

Products:
Potato Lollipop
It is an easy finger food recipe made with boiled potato. It is a very simple recipe and can
be made within 20 minutes, Potatoes are a good source of antioxidants, which may reduce the
risk of chronic diseases like heart disease, diabetes and certain cancers.
Nutri Siomai
It is not just a typical type of siomai, it is healthier compare to those ordinary siomai.
This Siomai or so called “Nutri Siomai” is made of Vegetables and tuna for those health-
conscious people.

Services:
Street foods like kwek-kwek, fish ball and siomai are examples of product that are
usually consumed by the people. It is commonly made from fish, or pork meat. For the first time
we are producing unique product in street food industry, a product made from variety of
vegetables. It is rich in vitamins and healthier than typically street foods.

Size of Business:
This business will produce & provide consumer product and organize small size
business. It is located inside Gastro Street Food Hub. We don’t have main office or factory in
producing our products.

Background of Entrepreneurs:
“Kalye Dos” is a short term of Kalye delicioso, it is a small food business established by
students of University of Manila currently taking course of Hotel Management. Kalye means
"street", and Delicioso is a spanish form of "delicious" means highly pleasing to the taste. Kalye
Delicioso offers different types of street food where made in vegetables. It is located in Gastro
Street Food Hub in front of University of Manila. As an entrepreneur we plan to create and
experiment unique product to get attention of people.
Production Plan

Manufacturing Process:
Potato Lollipop
Yield: 15
Ingredients:
2 boiled potatoes
2 tbsp butter
2 egg yolk
1 crispy fry
1/2 tsp crushed black pepper
1/2 tsp salt
1 cup of bread crumbs
oil for deep fry
Procedure:
Battering Procedure:
1. Take potatoes in a bowl, mash nicely.
2. Add egg yolk, add salt, add black pepper add butter, mix all properly.
3. Keep batter 15 minutes in freeze,
4. 15 minutes later, batter is is hard than previous.
5. Take some batter in palm, and make ball shape.
6. Make balls in same way
7. Balls are ready for coating.

Coating Procedure:
1. Take 1 ball, brush with eggs, then coat balls with crispy fry, brush with eggs again with
breadcrumbs.
2. Coat properly & place on a tray. Coat ball in some way.

Frying Procedure:
1. Pour potato balls carefully, fry this medium flame.
2. Stir & flip all balls. Fry all until golden brown colour, this will take around 7-8 minutes.
3. Fry done, drain oil with a sieve. Remove extra oil with tissue, looking so delicious & yummy.
4. Take some toothpick to make lollipop, pierce toothpick in all balls & make potato lollipop.

Nutri Siomai:
Yield: 30
Ingredients:
1 small carrots
1 parsley
1 malunggay
1 onion
1 ginger
6 cloves of garlic
1 egg
1/4 of tuna
1 cup of all purposes flour
Wanton Wrapper
1/2 cup of vinegar
1 cup of soy sauce
1 tbsp of magic sarap
10 calamansi

Procedure:
Procedure of Tuna:
1. Marinate the tuna with soy sauce, vinegar magic sarap and calamansi in 20 minutes.
2. Fry the tuna in frying pan.

Procedure of Siomai:
1. Mix all the ingredients, and add egg and the tuna.
2. Add one cup of all purposes flour.
3. Wrap the siomai using wanton wrapper.
4. Steam over medium heat for 10 min.

Machinery and Equipment:


In our small business we don’t need any machine for producing our product.
Kitchen equipment and utensils are only needed like (Chef's Knife, Cutting Board, Measuring
Cups, Measuring Spoons, Mixing Bowls, Colander, Vegetable Peeler, Potato Masher, Whisk,
Sauté Pan, Stockpot, Spatula, Steamer, Food Storage Containers, Towels). We don’t need to buy
those materials because we already have it. So that, we less expense.

Name of suppliers of raw materials:


We don’t have a specific name of suppliers, for a vegetable. But we can buy all of
it in Lakandula Street. Divisoria. All vendors sell it in same prices. But for gas, Jasmin Aguila is
the name of our supplier. Cell no. 09273669566.

We are going to create a page either Facebook or google, and share it to the public what is our
product all about. And we are going to call or text The Social Media Darling Sachzna Laparan to
promote our page and we would make some vlog, post it and Youtube and message the admin of
Umbb to post our video.

Form of ownership:
Partnership is a form of our ownership, because it is only a small business, and we
decided to all partners share liabilities and profits equally.

Identifications of partners or principal shareholders:


General partnership means all of us contribute to the day-to-day management of
the business. Each partner will have the authority to make business decisions and even legally
bind the company in contracts. Including the liabilities, contributions, and responsibilities of the
partners are often equal.

Evaluate weakness of business:


As a young entrepreneur in business industry there is a chance that we could
encounter an instance that might be a big problem in our business. Our first and major weakness
from now is being unpopular and unknown.

Contingency Plan:
In case of shortage the entrepreneurs have a planned to easily provide the companies
needed by doing a right decision. The plan that founders have is financial budgeting because
with this we can be prepare in any commotion that might encounter in the future.
