Course Description :

This course analyzes women’s situation in relation to crime and justice starting by the
examination of various feminist thoughts. The course then asks students to distinguish between women's
studies in conventional criminology and feminist criminology. The course also explains women’s
position through human rights and law perspective. The course also discusses the latest issues of the
most vulnerable situations of women. Each of the issues is thoroughly discussed in the context of
women's life experiences.
