POPIAVIRAL ENTREPRISE is established to promote and sell a variety of flavour


for popia snack. Our business located at University Teknikal Malaysia Melaka. Our popia
snack is different from others as we sell uniques flavours as our attention is to introduce more
variety in future of popia snack to our generation.
As we know, nowadays popia snack popular but not well know as another snack.
Now, cheesy popia is trendy but nestum and milo are still in their way to trendy. Our
delicious popia snack will attract various type of people and tourist due to simple handmade
recipe by a supplier. This is because customers don’t have to fry it, they can open and eat it. it
can save their time and money. For instance, nowadays in Malaysia, we have a lot of a
workaholic who keeps working only, they can save their time by eating our popia snack to
reduce hunger.
As a conclusion, we believe that POPIAVIRAL ENTREPRISE can compete with
other competitors around in UTEM which is University Teknikal Malaysia Melaka because
we have own credibility to introduce new flavour or popia snack that will attract people
easily. Lastly, we always ensure that our popia snack always in demand and are produced and
sell in with efficiently and effectively ways.

Name of business is POPIAVIRAL ENTERPRISE. This company offers to sell popia


snack to conform to customers’ specification and needs. Nowadays, we believe that people
are busy and go to classes, work or anywhere without eat. They need this snack this is
because it is easy to bring everywhere without a cook. POPIAVIRAL ENTERPRISE
introduces popia snack to reduce hunger, save time and can save money also. Popia snack is
something that delicious and customers don’t need to fry it.
Business is a process by which a product or service is introduced and promoted to
potential customers. Business Plan is a series of actions taken to help the business achieve the
overarching goal. To build brand awareness among customer and people, POPIAVIRAL
ENTERPRISE makes the marketing as the best way of their strategy to ensure the growth of
their business. Most aspects of POPIAVIRAL ENTERPRISE business depends on taste,
cleanness in snack and successful marketing. The overall marketing covers advertising,

Popia snack is a snack can eat buy anyone without to think about the ages. Popia
snack has many flavours which are popia milo, popia nestum and popia cheese. The cheesy
popia snack is trendy among teenager. Popia snack is a perfect solution for youth or for an
adult to go to work or classes because the only thing they have to do is open and eat.
Everyone can enjoy the popia snack during watching movies with family or friends. It helps
to increase the bonding between them and their families. The demand for popia snack is
rapidly increasing amongst youth and old folks across all-region. This rising demand for
popia snack can be attributed to the availability of a wide range of popia snack meet every
requirement. Mohniesha has decided to establish their business due to opportunity and
potential to make profits in Malacca. Other than that, there is still a high demand for popia
snack but however, we have less number of competition.
Once the business is financially stable, Mohniesha plans to offer many flavours of
popia snack and open online shopping platform (click-and-mortar) for their business.
Besides, Mohniesha plans to expand and grow their business which is POPIAVIRAL
ENTREPRISE by open the physical store (brick-and-mortar) and upgrade the quality of
products. To build the physical store, this company plan to get external financial resources by
borrowing capital in Perbadanan Usahawan Nasional Berhad (PUNB), TEKUN or Majlis
Amanah Rakyat (MARA).
As a conclusion, this business has a good future prospect this is because this business
has a very good prospect business. We also expect high demand and in two years so that we
can expand our branch and wing around Peninsular Malaysia

crunchy spring rolls and also to be the mainspring rolls supplier in this country. We also

6.1 Product Description

The snack, Popia was originally a mix of flour-based skin, vegetables such as beansprouts
and carrots and a generous amount of sauce. However, with time, humans have found a way
to innovate that particular Malay traditional snack into something much more compact,
convenient and with a new twist to its flavour profile. The innovation was the crunchy popia,
a mini version of the old popia with no sauce and vegetables. The process of making it as
easy as one would only need to deep fry the popia skin until it is crispy and season it with a
favourable flavour such as cheese and cocoa. That is why in all due respect, we believed that
this type of snack will make it big and bring fortune. We ensure high-quality popia through
testimonies and reviews to sell only the best crunchy popia one could have. The flavours vary
from a tangy, sour mix of cheese to the exciting, delightful taste of cocoa in Milo. We
package our products by a BPA-free container that guarantees the quality of our products and
the safety of our customers from any chemical poisoning. The packaging process is necessary
as the snacks were not handmade, but ordered in packs of considerable weight. It is also to
ensure the customers will find it attractive as the product is in good condition, available
anytime and anywhere but most importantly, delicious.

To ensure that marketing efforts meet customer needs and wants and profitability, we have
taken steps to ensure our market is within the scope of our business capabilities. Our target
market is around, the dormitories in Universiti Teknikal Malaysia Melaka which are Lestari
and Satria dormitories, as well as the Technology Management and Entrepreneurship Faculty
(FPTT) in the technology campus. Our target market is expanded to all types of people with
backgrounds such as education, social class, occupation and different races.

In the market size, the estimated number of our target market population in both the main and
technology campus of UTeM is estimated at 2000 people. This is also under the assumption
that the whole selling business would be executed during normal days excluding weekends
and long term holidays such as Deepavali and Christmas as the number of the market
population would have decreased dramatically by then.
