Good afternoon Teacher!!!
B. Review

Let’s have a recap first of what you’ve

done last meeting in MAPEH. What is it
all about? About learning the basic positions in
dancing, teacher.
Okay, can you show me any basic steps
that you’ve learned? (Some pupil will confidently show what
they’ve learned)
Wow, that’s great!!!

In this afternoon, we will no longer

dance but we will talk more about
Medicine.

Remember class, as long as our health

is concern then it is important to know
about these things so you better listen
to our discussion.

Are we clear? Yes, teacher.

C. Motivation

(The teacher will ask)

Class, do you know what is “self-

(Some will say yes, some will say no)
medication”?
It is about taking drugs without the
advice of a doctor.

Okay, that is correct!

Medicines for self-medication are usually

called ‘non-prescription’ or ‘over the
counter’(OTC) and are available through
pharmacies.

Explain that Self-medication or

misusing the medicines can bring both
Physical and Psychological Harm to our
health.

D. Procedure

(The teacher will divide the board in

two sections. Will write “Physical
Harm” on the left side and
“Psychological Harm” on the right
side.)

The teacher will explain that physical

harm means the harmful effect of the
medicine into our body.

Psychological harm means the effect of

the medicine into our minds and
emotions.

(The students will get their books after

posting each colored paper on the
board)

(The students will explain each. The
