Assalamu’alaikum warrahmatullahi wabarakatuh.

Bismillahirrahmanirrahim
The honorable jury of speech contest. The respectable friends, ladies and gentlemen.
Firstly, let’s thank to Allah SWT the master of universe who has been giving us
mercies and blessing until we can take a part on this speech contest without any
troubles in this happy and peaceful place.
Secondly, my blessing and regards be upon to our lovely prophet Muhammad SAW
who has guided us from the darkness to the lightness, with a hope we will get his help
in the day later fiddunya wal akhiroh.

Standing in front of you all, I would like to present my speech entitle “what is
Islam?”

Allah SWT said in the Al-Qur’an, surah Al Imran :19

ِ ْ ِ‫َّللا‬
‫اْلس ََْل ُم‬ َّ َ‫الدينَ ِع ْند‬
ِ ‫إِ َّن‬

Actually the religion with accepted by Allah only Islam

Islam is the true religion in sight of Allah SWT. There is no religion teaches and
guides on the right path, the way of life and spiritual activity like Islam does. Islam is
the religion for all human kind. Islam orders us to do goods in our life. We must
cooperate and do benefit for society or community. Islam is the religion that brought
by Muhammad. Islam has the great source of knowledge namely Al-Qur’an.
Islam is the perfect religion and the true religion insight of Allah. Islam also pays
attention the world matters and the hereafter matters. Therefore, the Muslims can find
the peace and happiness in this life and hereafter
The perfection of Islam that encompasses all aspects, for the purpose of an eternal
and unlimited future happiness. Happiness is not only in the world, but in the
hereafter as well. Therefore why do people still doubt the truth and perfection of

Islam? Why do people still look for alternatives and other solutions? Islam is enough,
there is no need to add or subtract to implement Islamic teachings. If we believe to
Allah SWT and His messenger Muhammad SAW and avoid his prohibition, Allah
will give us his mercy and his blessing in our live
Ladies and gentlemen.

So, as a Muslim we have to follow the way of life prophet Muhammad SAW
particularly. We have to do the pray five times only with jamaah in the mosque,
because person who doing his sholat on time with jamaah will be given five
guarantee:

1. He will be awarded on easy livelihood.

2. The punishment of cemetery will be removed from him.
3. He will receive the book of charity with his right hand.
4. He will pass the Shirotolmustaqin Bridge with lighting speed.
5. He will enter the paradise without reckoning.
Ladies and gentlemen,

Indeed, the true Islam is that which contained in the Qur’an (Holy book of Islam) and
in the Sunnah (the saying of the prophet Muhammad SAW). And not everything that
is said to be Islam is in considered part of the religion of Islam. It needs to be
returned to the Qur’an and Sunnah. As we know that our life in the world is very
short and temporary. In the hereafter, we need faith and sholeh charity. And the most
important is we have to do and follow the way of life prophet Muhammad SAW.
