1. How did Fatima and Mae differ from each other?

Fatima and Mae have the same reason which is to graduate college and
have a successful work. But Fatima and Mae are very different from each other
because Fatima has no time management skills. She always accepts paper
works and other tasks to do just to enhance her leadership skills yet she doesn’t
think that she’s already procrastinating and she still does have works to be done
on time while Mae is also engaged in several activities but Mae has a time
management she got her requirements pass on time, maintained her scores, and
have time to relax during the weekend. She chose not to accept other tasks,
projects because she wanted to finish her work that needs to be done on time.

2. If you were in Fatima’s shoes, what would you do to improve the situation? Why?

If I were in the Fatima’s shoes, I would do the same like Mae. I will focus on
one work before I will accept extra commitments. I will plan my day because it
can help me get everything done. Manage my schedule before taking any further
step. As what others said “ That the first step towards success is efficient time
management. Efficient time management increases my productivity, improves my
quality of work and also helps me to reduce stress.

3. What were the things that you admired about Mae? Why?

The things that I have admired about Mae is that even though she is also
engaged in several activities but she is able to manage her time properly and
efficiently. Mae knows the importance of time management for people from all
walks of life and she know how it can help you attain your goals.

4. What insights have you learned from the case study?

Today’s era is a very competitive one, where only ones unique qualities
can bring you to the top most category of successful bunch of people. So, to
stand against the crowd one has to work on cultivating those special skills. The
individual’s eagerness and willingness to learn new things always proved boon in
the self development criteria. The most important development skills that will
help you build a strong personality “The change starts with you”, so start
preparing in order to face the world.

Insights that I have learned from the case study is all about time
management. That time management is essential for people belonging to
different walks of life. Be it a student, homemaker, professional and everyone of
us must manage their task well. It takes a lot of dedication and determination to
stay focused and follow the schedule you have set for yourself to manage time
efficiently.
