I. Project Goals/ Objectives
a. To introduce to kids the 3 different kinds of trash bin and their meaning
b. To teach kids how to properly segregate trash
c. Teach kids where they should throw the specific trash they have.
d. Help the community to have a cleaner and safe environment by having proper

II. Rationale
Republic Act 9003 or the Ecological Solid Waste Management Act of 2000, is an
act providing for an ecological solid waste management program. Creating the necessary
institutional mechanism and incentives. This law was crafted in response to the garbage
problem of the country. Waste are materials that can be recycled or a regular basis, but
because of ignorance, a lot of waste gets dump and because of it pollution is happening.
To stop the pollution, we must learn how to segregate our waste in a daily basis.
Separating wastes like plastic and bio degradable waste are very important,
because plastic waste does not decay like the bio degradable wastes but they take
hundreds of years to breakdown, so instead of burning plastic which is very harmful to
the environment, segregating waste can lead us to recycling and can help everyone if we
make recycled things that are useful and practical that’s why segregating waste should be
taught as early as possible so that kids can live in a healthy and safer environment.
