Report of seminar on Entrepreneurship Development

October 12th, 2015

A seminar has been organized by the Department of Management Studies on Entrepreneurship

Development. The Resource person Mr. A. V. Raghava Chari, Managing Director of Ravens Biotech Inc

has interacted with the MBA students and gave an excellent speech on Entrepreneurship Development. He

used live industry examples which a Business Entrepreneur usually faces and has to overcome. He also

narrated his own success story. He stated various schemes which the Indian government provides to the

business promoters and various business opportunities available in India. A total of 40 students were

benefitted by this seminar.

The students of MBA actively involved in this session and made it a grand success. Head of the

department proposed vote of thanks and thanked Mr. R. Raghava Chari for encouraging the students to build

up their career as an entrepreneur.

A Seminar on

MARKETING PROSPECTS

22nd August, 2016

Department of Management Studies, Narayana Engineering College, Nellore organized a seminar on

Marketing Prospects with the kind support of Ravens Biotech Inc, Nellore. Mr. V. Hari Prasad,

Marketing Manager delivered an inspiring speech in the area of marketing. The idea behind having such a

seminar is to guide the budding managers regarding various opportunities available in the field of

marketing. This session has received good response as many participants (35) could get their doubts

clarified. A total of 35 students were benefitted by the seminar.

Students participated actively in this interactive session. The feedback from the students was very

encouraging. HOD profusely thanked Mr. V. Hari Prasad for his active interaction with the students in

creating interest in them on the subject.

The Department of Management Studies, Narayana Engineering College, Nellore has conducted a

guest lecture with Mr. K. Lakshmi Kanth, Senior HR Manager of Religare Enterprise Ltd on

09.01.2018 at Koutilya Seminar Hall involving Management Students. He explained about the Model

Interview Process along with Certain Tips to face an interview with confidence. He also suggested to the

students about the benefits of choosing a right career. 30 students were benefitted by this session.

The final year students involved actively in this session and asked many queries regarding interview
tips and group discussions. Finally, the HOD thanked the resource person for his encouragement of the
students in planning effectively to face interviews in future. The resource person facilitated mock interviews
for the students to create right awareness.
