Introduction
Chapeter four represents the data collection in the reserach. It is important to represent it by
using graphics that represent all the instruments used during the data colection process. In
this partciular case the data represeted in graphics are taken from the group of the ten

Based on the graphic 4.5% of the students are using English every day, probably because
their specialty, since they are enrolled in the major of executive, students must take 12

LISTENING SPEAKING READING WRITING
The courses taken by students in the specialty of Executive are oral communication, and
written communication. In Oral students focus on the listening and speaking skills, and in
written communication in writing skills and few reading, nevertheless the students practice
speaking and listening outside the classroom, for instance when watching movies or
watching tv at home, and practicing between peers in and out the classroom.

As represented in this research 70% of the students watch soundtrack movies either in High
school, home, or even when they have time, and 20% of the students watch them everyday,
which means that they are exposed to English movies with subtitles all the time,
everywhere they are, they are always exposed to it. Just 10% of the students do it less than
once a week.

In this case 9 students from the 10 in the research preferred to watch movies in English, it
means that English movies are preferred between the students when they have to see a film

Even though the highest percentage represents horror and comedy movies, it is not the best
to play a horror movies in the classroom, due to it can affect the sensibility of some
students. In spite of students really like horror movies teachers should take into account that
it is not a good decision, first because the language used is not the best for putting into
practice in the classroom, and according to Blasco (2015) movies experiences act like
emotional memories for developing attitudes which means that watching a horror movie is

This graphic represents that students are sure about the purpose of watching movies. As it is
represented the majority of the students are using soundtracks in order to improve listening
skills instead of watching them just for entertainment, and according to Donaghy (2015)
movies provide a source of authentic and varied language, it means that the students will

Students are clear on what they want, and it is to improve listening skills at any time. They
are sure that listening skills is very important for them, and they may improve it by
watching movies. It is represented in the graphic, that students know the they can improve
vocabulary, and many other things by being exposed to English movies in the everyday life.
