Hello my name is Aprilia Sekar Kinanti, now I’am a new student in nursing
department at Poltekkes Tasikmalaya, class 1A. First you must now I didn’t want to be a
nurse, why? Because first in my mind being a nurse means brave, dirty and essentially
disgusted. But with the passage of time I finally want to be a nurse because I saw a Korean
drama about “nurse” who met the “doctor”. Besides, I want to challenge myself so finally
I decide to be a nurse

Hello my name is Rizka Rahmania, now i’am a new student in nursing department
at Poltekkes Tasikmalaya, grade 1A in Academic year of 2017-2018. originally I wanted
to be a dentist, but godhas another plan , I finally became a nurse. I want to become a
nurse expert in the field of surgery, because it can also stimulate our adrenaline.

1. Surgical Nurse

Medical surgical nursing is a professional service which is based on Medical Science and
Engineering of Medical Surgical Surgery in the form of comprehensive bio-psycho-
socio-spiritual service aimed at adults with or who tend to experience physiological
disorder with or without structural disorder due to trauma

2. Big challenge in sight

being a nurse surgeon is very challenging because we can see how the process of running
the surgery that doctors do. and also we can see directly the internal organs of humans

3. What do you mean by slice?

being a surgeon's nurse is very interesting because we help directly in the process of
running the operation, we work more disciplined and more thorough.

4. Tool in surgical operating room

-Gloves - to protect the hands from surrounding environmental influences.

-Cathether - to remove / take urine.
-Urine Bag - to accommodate urine associated with Balloon Cathether / Foley Cathether
to remove / retrieve urine on a closed system.
 -Stomach Tube - to collect the liquid / gastric juice, to rinse / stomach contents.
-Feeding Tube - Function: for nutrition / feeding of liquid food through mouth or nose.
-Cathether Suction - to suck the mucus from the newborn trachea.
-Wing needle - as an extension of the vein for administration of intravenous -fluids or
long-term intra-vein drugs.
-Infusion set - hose for infusion fluids.
-Tranfusion Set - for blood transfusion.
-Spuit / Syringe - to inject.
-Syringe - to inject coupled with syringes.
-Glycerin syringes - to spray lavement / clysma through the liquid anus frequently used is
glycerine or soap solution.
-Currete - to clear the uterus in abortion patients / miscarriage

5. Dream comes true

Hopefully the dream of becoming a surgical nurse can be achieved and if we succeed to
become a surgical nurse For the future may be a disciplined, professional, helping nurse
who helps the sick and can be useful.
