CHAPTER 1: THE PROBLEM AND ITS BACKGROUND
INTRODUCTION
Teenagers this days have become more attracted with their gadgets it
seems like everyday their doing just use their gadgets noting more and
they Forget to eat their meals because of gadgets. The Researcher want
to have a survey the effects of gadgets. On Grade 10 Students in
Mangaldan National High School on their studies. Because the
Researcher also wanted to know Negative and Positive effect of a
having a gadgets on Students.
1. How each other manage their time between gadgets and Studies

Methods
The research implemented simple descriptive design this design used survey questionnaires
which were distributed to the respondents in order to attain the main objective of the study
which is to examine the effect of gadget on students in their studies of Grade 10 High school
students of Mangaldan National High School. The survey or the research it self tried to
describe,analyze and interpret the effect of gadget on their studies of the respondents the
design is non experimental correlation research this design investigated the effect of gadget on
their studies of the variable without manipulating their .

50 questionnaires

Respondents of The Study
The research was conducted at the Mangaldan National High School during February,academic
year 2018-2019 at Mangaldan Pangasinan.
There were 50 respondent who took part in the study the population consisted of grade 10
students from Mangaldan National High School.
the researcher made use of selective sampling method in the selection of the respondents since
the study was focused on a particular group (students involved in effect of Gadget ).

lll-Procedure Employed
The research was a cross-sectional Study,as it elaborated the data being
collected at one particular questionnaires to selected respondent,of
Mangaldan National High School (MNHS).Before the questionnaires
were handed to students.the purpose along with the aims of this
study.were briefly explained by the researcher.they were also
quaranteed that their responses would be confidential
furthermore.they reminded about the time they would spend in filling
up the questionnaire.
lV-Conclusion
Based on the results it was found out that 68% YES of the Questionnaire
that students answer on the survey has a higher than the 32%
NO.responded of the survey.the researcher found out that the gadget
has a positive and negative effect of students.the positive effect is when
you have assignment you will search on you will using and the negative
effect is you dont have enough time to eat and sleep because of
gadget.it will affect your studies and your self.
RECOMMENDATIONS
-To my fellow researchers the survey forms or the questinnaire should
be produce on Grade 10 Student. in any section of Mangaldan National
High School the survey form or the questionnaire should be pruduce 50
Students.
