Abstract
Deși Familia Amaranthaceae este
bogata, cuprinzând peste 600 specii, dar in
Romania este putin cultivata. Planta are
multiple intrebuientari: decorative, alimentare,
medicinale si energetice, dar dar poti gasi
buruiana si in flora spontana.
SCDL Buzau, prin laboratorul de
Ameliorare si conservarea biodiversitatii
manifesta interes pentru aceasta planta,
realizand pana in prezent o baza valoroasa de
germoplasma.
Din colectia au fost selectate 11
genotipuri de Amaranthus stabilizate genetic ce
fac obiectul acestei lucrari.
Cercetarile au urmarit studierea
adaptabilitatii la conditiile pedo-climatice din
tara noastra si analizarea descriptorilor
cantitativi si calitativi.
Caracterele agro-morfologice au fost
analizate cu ajutorul testului ANOVA urmata
de testul Duncan.
Diferente semnificative s-au constatat
la diametrul tufei, lungimea paniculului, cat si
la numarul de ramificatii principale.
Genotipurile au avut forme diferite ale
inflorescentelor, astfel 9,1% au fost semi-
curgatoare, curgatoare un procent de 36,4 si
inflorescente drepte 54,5%.
Culoarea inflorescentei a avut si ea
variatii.
Concluzionand, SCDL Buzau detine o
varietate mare de genotipuri la aceasta specie si
cercetarile vor continua prin imbogatirea bazei
de germoplasma si obtinerea de noi cultivare la
aceasta specie.

AlthoughThe Amaranthaceae family is rich,
containing over 600 species, but in Romania it
is little cultivated. The plant has multiple uses:
decorative, food, medicinal and energetic, but
you can also find the weed in spontaneous
flora.
SCDL Buzau, through the Laboratory for
Improvement and Conservation of
Biodiversity, has shown interest for this plant,
achieving until now a valuable germplasm
base.
From the collection were selected 11
genetically stabilized genotypes of Amaranthus
that are the subject of this work.
The research followed the study of the
adaptability to the pedo-climatic conditions in
our country and the quantitative and qualitative
analysis descriptors.
The agro-morphological characters were
analyzed using the ANOVA test, followed by
the Duncan test.
Significant differences were found in the
diameter of the bush, the length of the panicle,
as well as the number of main branches.
The genotypes had different forms of
inflorescences, thereby 9.1% were semi-
flowing, flowing 36,4% and straight
inflorescences 54.5%.
The color of the inflorescence also had
variations.
.In conclusion, SCDL Buzau has a large
variety of genotypes of this species and the
research will continue by enriching the
germplasm base and obtaining new cultivation
of the species.
