Assalamu’alaikum Wr. Wb.

With all the respect of the Principal, who I respect my class teacher, whom I
respect, dear Sir and Madam, also to my dear friends.
First of all, say our praise and gratitude only to Allah SWT for mercy and blessings
upon us so that at this good time and opportunity we can all still gather in this place in
our best health.
Do not forget, our Prayer and Greetings to the Prophet Muhammad SAW with
pronunciation “Allahummasholi ‘ala Muhammad wa ‘alahi Muhammad”, and may Allah's
grace always be poured upon him and his family, and hopefully we all get his safaat at
“Yaumil Akhir”, Aaamiiiin Yaa Rabbal ‘Alamiiin......
Today, my short speech contains the theme of “Making The Better Indonesia”,
with the title is “Youth Generation That Brings Alteration”.
Ladies and gentlemen, my dear friends and friends, Youth is a person who always
brings change. Changes in the life order of several ages are quite influenced by the role of
youth. In 1982, young people gathered together and then took the pledge to tighten
Indonesian unity. This promise is known as the Youth Oath. All youth from all over
Indonesia from various ethnicities, cultures, languages and regions struggle to reclaim
the independence of the nation altogether.
Who doesn't know Mr. Soekarno, our first president in Indonesia? There is no
doubt in his speech to encourage young people to defend Indonesia's independence.
Indonesia's long journey towards national independence shows us how much influence it
has on the lives of our nation. And then as a young generation of Muslims, what have we
contributed to society, nation, religion and especially ourselves? Have we made a
change?
A Muslim youth must continue positive change from day to day in his life. What a
loss if a Muslim youth looks worse than yesterday. The success of a young man in
dealing with a number of disabilities living together with good change will be the basis of
how he brings change to his environment and those who are greater than that.
For all my friends I'm proud of, Yusuf Qardhawi said that there are three things
that underlie a young man as a basis for change;
1. Young people come with brilliant brains
2. Young people have a strong physique
3. Young people are objective

From the three points above, we can come to the conclusion that to bring about a
balance of physical change, adolescents also need to consider three things that underlie
spiritual change:
1. Young people need to have strong faith
2. Young people must always be istiqamah in carrying out religious duties and
obligations
3. Young people have good behavior or moral character

Brethren, attendees, and all friends who are blessed by God. It's about the time for
Muslim youth to rise because they create change in every line of life and maintain and
maintain the self-image of Islam. Moreover, Islam has been besieged from all directions.
We need to increase our knowledge about Islam by reading various books. Not only
Islamic books but also books whose contents sometimes touch the Islamic world. Thus,
the younger generation can have provisions to become agents of change.
Make our youth a time full of benefits and good things before old age, when all our
spirits will fade. What are we waiting for, if we can make changes now? Use our youth to
be a part of the history of Islamic revival in Indonesia.
That's all I can say. Forgive me for my words. Thank you for your attention.
Jazakumullah Khairan Khatsiran....

Wabillahi Taufiq wal Hidayah....
