quantities.
The student is expected to:
(A) use one-to-one correspondence and language such as more than, same number as, or less than
to describe relative sizes of sets of concrete objects;
(B) use sets of concrete objects to represent quantities given in verbal or written form (through

Poster board with the lyric of the numbers song that include 1-10 and 11-20.
Make to dices that have the numbers 1-6
glue stick
plastic scissors
colored pages
note card
Procedure:
1. Review what the students already know about the numbers 1-10
Use the dice to help explaining how numbers can be more than, same number as, or less than.
See if the kids can still remember how to count 1-10 before you move on to 11-20.
2. Introduce new numbers
By going over the numbers you’re giving a heads up to the kids and slowly making a
transition to the new numbers 11-20.
Discuss with the kids about how numbers can be different in value or giving them hints in
order for them to remember which numbers can be more than, same number as, or less than
others is a good way to start class.
3. Guided Practice
Post up the poster with the numbers 1-10 and also the numbers 11-20. Refer to the poster
board with the lyrics to the song to help with the lesson. Use the memory card with the class
to see if they understand the information.
Assessment:
Give out the worksheets for the students to complete individually. Worksheet will have
different math numbers and the spelling of each numbers so they can right over; also some
