Condiciones meteorológicas extremas y aumento de las precipitaciones. Las
fuertes lluvias y otros fenómenos climáticos extremos son cada vez más
frecuentes y pueden provocar inundaciones y el deterioro de la calidad del
agua, e incluso en algunas zonas una progresiva disminución de los recursos
hídricos. El cambio climático afecta a todas las regiones del mundo. Los
casquetes polares se están fundiendo y el nivel del mar está subiendo. En
algunas regiones, los fenómenos meteorológicos extremos y las
inundaciones son cada vez más frecuentes, y en otras se registran olas
de calor y sequías.
El sur y el centro de Europa sufren cada vez más olas de calor, incendios
forestales y sequías.
La zona mediterránea se está convirtiendo en una región más seca que la hace
todavía más vulnerable a la sequía y a los incendios.
En norte de Europa se está transformando claramente en una zona más
húmeda y podrían ser más frecuentes las crecidas en invierno.
Las zonas urbanas, donde viven cuatro de cada cinco europeos, están
expuestas a olas de calor, inundaciones o aumentos del nivel del mar, y no
suelen estar bien equipadas para adaptarse a los cambios climáticos.
¿Qué buscan?
Respecto a qué condiciones laborales o qué es primordial para los jóvenes al
momento de buscar su primer empleo, el 36.8% contestó que espera que dicho
empleo cuente con todos los beneficios de la ley; un 17.2% de ellos manifestó
que se asegura que el empleo cuente con un ambiente laboral agradable; el
14.7% espera que su primera experiencia laboral sea en una empresa formal.
La gran parte jóvenes en el país, un 62.6% de ellos, suelen buscar como primer
empleo actividades dentro de rubros como atención al cliente y ventas. Mientras
que un porcentaje menor, el 12.3% busca empleos en cargos administrativos,
seguido de un 6,7% que opta por empleos referidos a logística y producción, el
4.9% en gastronomía y hotelería.
Oportunidades laborales
El grupo de jóvenes encuestados sostuvo que no hallan con frecuencia
posibilidades de empleo, es decir no puede asistir a entrevistas de posibles
trabajos.
El 55.8% de ellos expresó que asisten a una entrevista al mes, el 31.9% lo hace
entre 2 y 4 veces, mientras que solo el 8% de ellos logran de 4 a 8 entrevistas y
solo el 4.3% tiene más de 10 oportunidades de ser entrevistado a un empleo.
The Forge Peru Foundation developed a survey among young people aged 18
to 24 to learn about the employability conditions and opportunities of this group
of the population, as well as the difficulties or obstacles that they encounter when
they look for their first job.
Being a first job, respondents detailed what were the main difficulties or obstacles
they encounter in the labor market that prevent them from obtaining a job, and in
the first place was the lack of experience for the job.
Thus, 38% of respondents responded that they cannot enter the working world
because they do not have previous experience and 25% of them said that it is
due to the lack of rotating schedules that allow them to continue studying or
undertake studies and 8% of them he indicated that it is because of the low
salaries that the labor market presents.
“Young people in Peru finish high school and cannot continue studying because
of economic factors and if they choose the job option it is not so easy for them to
find employment, due to lack of experience. This leads them to spend long
periods of inactivity or enter a dynamic of informal jobs, in poor conditions and
without the benefits or labor rights of law, ”said María José Gómez, director of
Forge Peru.
What do they seek?
Regarding what working conditions or what is essential for young people when
seeking their first job, 36.8% replied that they expect that employment will have
all the benefits of the law; 17.2% of them said that they ensure that employment
has a pleasant working environment; 14.7% expect their first work experience to
be in a formal company.
While 13.5% expect their working hours to be respected and 4.9% for payments
to be timely.
The majority of young people in the country, 62.6% of them, usually look for
activities such as customer service and sales as their first job. While a smaller
percentage, 12.3% look for jobs in administrative positions, followed by 6.7% who
choose jobs related to logistics and production, 4.9% in gastronomy and
hospitality.
Job opportunities
The group of young people surveyed said that they often do not find employment
opportunities, that is, they cannot attend interviews of possible jobs.

For the young people surveyed, the disadvantageous environment they perceive
from the labor market pushes them to find informal jobs, in 58.3% of cases.
Regarding this, the director of Forge Peru emphasizes the problem that exists in
our country, because she points out that eight out of ten young people work
informally.
Under this context, the Forge organization plans to deliver more than 1,000
training grants in technical and humanistic guidance in Peru to achieve full
development, which will allow them to access formal employment without any
difficulty.
