 MIL-DTL- 32439
 Water repellent treated 12 oz. coated fabric
Where We Want To Go:
• Fabric sought for future load-carriage applications,
i.e. Rucksacks and Pouches that meets:

 Similar durability and performance requirements

of the textured nylon
 Lighter than 12 oz./sq yd

 ARMY MODULAR TACTICAL HOLSTER
(AMTH)
Where We Are:
• A Request For Information (RFI) was posted in Fed Biz Ops on Aug 12
for an Army Modular Tactical Holster (W911QY-16-AMTH)

• The Government is conducting this market investigation to acquire

information on the types and sizes of businesses that will be able to
compete on future contracting actions, potential costs, as well as
production and delivery capabilities. In addition, the Government is
interested in identifying emergent technologies

• Key Performance Parameters (KPPs) are described in the RFI

Where We Are Going:

• Refine KPPs for the AMTH as a result of Industry responses to the RFI

• Determine appropriate COA’S to procure the AMTH in support of the

Modular Handgun System (MHS) program

• Ensure the AMTH is properly provisioned and prepared to support the

MHS fielding
