Program Cost
It is recommended to have funds available before starting your
pilot career. One of the major factors in not completing the
commercial pilot program is not having the adequate funding
when it is needed. The majority of pilots who do not have funds
available are obligated to stop flying therefore halting their
progress.
Commercial Pilot Course is USD $$44,995. This includes all
courses, materials, flight time, and fuel.

Learning to fly is a large investment of time and money. Financ-
es are definitely a factor to consider. Wayman is an aviation
flight training company and not an educational institute, there-
fore we do not offer financial aid programs to students at this
time. However, there are several smart ways to fund your flying.
A few popular forms of reaching your funding needs are using
sponsors, loans, scholarships, and student financial aid (Most
financial aid option require the student to be a US Resident or
Citizen)
• Sponsors: Friends, family, and community organiza-
tions often have grants and loans that you can access with the
most ease. You will be surprised at how willing family and
friends are to support your development.
• Loans: Vocational loans through your bank or credit
union are secure ways to finance your education. We are happy
to write any enrollment letters or references you may need.
Collateralized loans often have the lowest interest rates. If you
have equity on your house, car, or cash in a savings account, a
bank can loan against that value.
• Financial Loans: If you or your parents have life insur-
ance, retirement funds, or stock accounts, your financial institu-
tion may allow you to withdraw money or take out loans with low
interest rates from these types of financial assets. Consult with
your financial institution to see if you have this option available.
• Private Loans: Aviation or private organizations are
very generous for those that reach out and seek help. Go online
and look for organizations that want to help minorities or
students who want to excel in life.
• US Citizens/Resident: Financial Aid & Scholarships for
