WELCOME to the Holiday Inn Express® Uniform Brand Guidelines.
In line with our Purposeful Contemporary design style, the new uniform design
embodies the “Stay Ready” service style and helps our hotel colleagues deliver
the brand promise of “Simple, Smart Travel” to our guests. Our hotel employees
– our brand ambassadors – and what they wear is critical in delivering the
guest experience. By taking pride in their uniform, they create a professional
image for the Holiday Inn Express® brand and bring to life our brand character
and personality.
This document help creates a unified visual style for consistency across AMEA.

IRONING
The order of ironing:
1. Iron at setting specified on care label.
2. Iron all doubled and thick parts on the wrong side.
3. Iron all seams on the wrong side.
4. Embroidery should be ironed on the wrong side pressed on to a pad.
5. Iron all small parts: collars, cuffs, etc.
6. Iron the main part of the garment.
7. Iron until all the moisture is gone, otherwise the article will crease when it finally dries.
8. Fold according to garment or hang on hangers.
9. Air before storing.

are allowed • stockings with patterns
• full black shoes • scruffy shoes with scratches and worn-out heels
• odour-free shoes • wearing non-standardised footwear
• shoes must be in good condition (example: shoes with heels)
• socks must be black and ankle length or low-cut
(must not be shown) Other
• safety shoes are a must for kitchen and stewarding staff
(also applies to outsourced partners) • tattoos must not be visible when employee
is in uniform
• be mindful of body odour or bad breath
