GRASPS: Goal, Role, Audience, Situation, Performance, Standards

Goal Your goal is to present a form of integrated contemporary art based on the region
of your choice.
e.g. choreography, musical instrument, literary and music composition, visual
design, and/or theatrical performance
Role You are artists (choreographer and dancer, musician, composer, singer, visual artist
and theatrical performer) that convened to present a show in celebration of the
Regional Festival of Talents.
Audience You will present in front of the other artists in the region and the Filipino citizens to
air your advocacy of upholding peace and patriotism.
Situation Caraga Region is inviting all the artists in the different divisions to participate in the
Regional Festival of Talents (RFOT) in order to promote the theme, “Upholding
Peace and Patriotism through Contemporary Arts”.
Performance With this purpose, the composer shall craft a piece conveying patriotism and
nationalism to be given a melody and be sung by the singer and be provided an
accompaniment by the instrumentalist. The choreographers/dancers shall create a
contemporary dance whose movements portray the same theme. The theatrical
performers must express in the performance issues and cultures of tribal war,
courtship and marriage, and family feud and how these affect societal peace. Visual
artists must exhibit artworks conveying the same theme and exploiting either
neoclassic or modern styles.
