My name’s Hamad and I’m from Manama in Bahrain. My friends Abdullah and Hassan are

also students. They aren’t from Bahrain – they are from Dubai.

We are in Beirut now – we are students at the university. Our flat is very expensive, but the

shops aren’t expensive. The people are very friendly – Beirut is a fantastic city!

Salah and I are from Jeddah in Saudi Arabia and we are engineers. We aren’t in Saudi Arabia

now – we are in Sydney in Australia for a conference. Gilberto and Jorge are also engineers.

They aren’t from Saudi Arabia – they are from Brazil.

Sydney is a great city and the conference is fantastic. But the restaurant in the hotel isn’t good

– the food is awful and the waiters are unfriendly.
