The Leadership Talent Program is your entry path that prepares you to assume a leadership role within the Daimler
Trucks and Buses organization. As part of this three year program, you will gather extensive cross-functional
expertise, will have local as well as global assignments in various departments and will get to know our sales- and
dealership structure by having an assignment directly within a dealership. You will develop an extensive network
within Daimler as a foundation for a long-lasting career in our company. Additionally, you will receive specialized
training and development opportunities, e.g. regarding our new leadership culture Leadership2020. A personal
mentor from top management level will guide you on your way. Depending on your experiences, interests and skills,
you’ll begin working towards a leading position in your core business area after successful completion.

Responsibilities:

 Setting the strategy for DICV’s direction towards future of mobility, e.g. by beyond-trucking initiatives and
the proposition of new business models
 Start-up scouting: Evaluating existing players and start-ups and their business ideas
 Creating profound financial analyses, business plans and financial evaluations (e.g. as part of due
diligences)

Required Qualification and Skills:

 University graduate (bachelor’s degree or higher - preferably with MBA) from a renowned university with a
degree in Financial Analysis, Business, Management or equivalent and a strong focus in financial analysis.
 0-3 years of professional experience, preferably in international environments, start-ups, venture capital
firms or strategy consulting
 Strong analytical skills, combined with a strategic understanding of current market environments, overall
economic situational changes, evolving technologies and trends
 Willingness to work abroad and to be adaptive to change to pursue a long-term career within Daimler
 Fluency in written & spoken English. Additional languages are a plus.
 Outstanding communication skills
 Desire to grow into a leadership position
