Environment Baseline Data: Physical Environment, Geology and Geomorphologic Characteristics,


General Geological Structure, Stratigraphy, Soil Characteristics, Climatology, Topography, Ambient Air
Quality, Noise, Flora and Fauna, Archaeological and Cultural Resources, Land Use, Sensitive Zones,
Biological Environment, Wetlands, Vegetation, Wildlife, Social Environment etc.

Description of Actual Services Provided by your staff:

• Potential Environment Impacts : Construction Phase Physical and Chemical, Geology and Soils,
Topography and Landforms, Climate and Meteorology, Air Quality, Noise, Hydrology, Water
Quality, Solid Waste, Biological, Flora and Fauna, Ecosystems, Socio-economic, Demographic,
Land Use, Occupational Health and Safety, Operation Phase, Physical and Chemical, Geology
and Soils, Topography and Landforms, Climate and Meteorology, Air Emissions, Noise,
Hydrology, Water Quality, Solid Waste, Biological, Ecosystems, Socio-economic Structure,
Demographic, Land Use, Occupational Health and Safety

Supply and installation of a steel mast with height of at least 100 m with necessary riggings, Supply and
install wind measuring equipment (anemometer) at height of 100 m, 80 m and 60m. Supply and install
data recording and transmitting equipment for wind measuring equipment. Gather data from wind
measuring equipment and record it for a period of 12 months. Process gathered data of 12 months and
generate wind map including a viable wind model around Matarbari Island that can be used in the
feasibility study for wind firm.

• Detailed topographical/contour survey & soil investigation.


• Assessment of suitability of the site(s) identified for installation of the proposed wind energy
project.
• Determine the optimum height of wind turbines and their generating capacity.
• Power System studies and finalization of power evacuation scheme for the project
• Finalization of Civil & structural design details of WTG foundation, control room buildings.
• Estimation of Project Capacity and Annualized energy yield
• Preparation of preliminary plant layout
• Preparation of project implementation schedule
• Finalization of detailed bill of quantity for mechanical, civil & electrical works.
• Assessment of Environmental Impact
• Assessment of Social Impact
• Estimation of project cost (grid connected) considering equipment cost, land acquisition cost
(including resettlement cost, if any), land development cost and erection cost.
• Computation of CDM benefits
• Computation of cost of generation and IRR
• Derivation of Indicative Tariff and tariff modality.
• Preparation of EIA report and Resettlement Action Plan (RAP)

Review of the metering point and inter-connection point with the grid and the distance for routing the
cable. The project site and boundary area and approximated site plan and layout. Topographic
mapping of the site. Available geophysical, soil, climate, and weather details. A conceptual design of the
project, including estimation of installed capacity depending on the type of best available technology.
Cost-benefit analysis for different technological options for wind WTG. Legal Due-Diligence in
Environmental and Social Impact Analysis including Disaster Impact Analysis. Financial Structuring -
Prepare analysis and recommendations for different models, ranging from pure public development
to public-private partnership (PPP), independent power producer (IPP) and
other suitable modalities
