1.5 Logarithms
Logarithms is defined by the following ilustration :
If a is a positive number (a > 0) and g is a positive number which is not equal to 1 ( 0 < g
< 1 or g >1), so that :

log a = x if and only if gx = a

log a = x we can read it : logarithm of a to the base g is x.
log a = 10log a
Example :
1. Change the following exponent into logarithms

Basic formulas of logarithms:
